Did a quick and dirty photoshop of the wheels. Really not the copper I'm looking for, but gives you an idea. I want to plate it then allow it to oxidize and occasionally polish it. so its a 50/50 look.
i'm hopefully going to be grabbing a nice 02 in the next week or so fingers crossed
just out of curiosity what sort of width/offset ranges can you run on these??
Riley_J- I'm really not sure I went into it with what I wanted and made it work. If you go on 2002faq.com and look up the "stance thread" people put in the offsets and stuff. It should help you.
I think this is more appealing. It will make a much better contrast from wheel lip(copper)-rubber(black)-fender(gloss black)
(copper will be a lot brighter, but I'm struggling with photoshop today)
more of my style.
Black centers make the wheel look smaller which i usually dont like. but as the 17s are really big for a 02 it actually works pretty good! Would the centers then be glossy?
Copper colored lips will be the shit!
I agree they do make the wheel appear smaller, which is good in my situation. Also the copper will give more depth to the lips compared to black so overall I think it would work out better in this situation.
