for sure. yeah mean just get some STF 501's to start out. they are readily available, inexpensive, and very good quality for the price. i recommend doing a hot soak and air dry to start out though.

i wore luckybrand in middle school....they are seriously some of the shittiest over priced denim i've seen. the button fly opening is kinda funny though.

like kielan said, not all selvedge is raw, and not all raw is selvedge. you can tell by the look and feel of the denim.

raw=unwashed. so anything with "wash" in it, is not raw. well...there's one wash, but i would be extremely surprised if levis had one wash denim, and it would say one wash in it.

This is true. STF 501s seem to be ground breaking ideas LOL.

                • Big fan of Levie 511s, but plan on trying something a bit nicer when my current pair of raw selvedge from them are used up. T.j. Maxx will get their raw non selvedge denim in on occasion which ends up being a good deal at 20 a pop. Their raw nom-selvedge denim is pretty quality for the price it goes for. I dislike the feel of washed or soft denim now, just feels cheap, can't do it. My only complaint on the 511s is I wouldnt mind it being a bit more narrow cut down towards the ankle.

Take them to a tailor, and see if they can do something about that for ya.

Right now, I really do like my selvedge 511s love the way they feel, even though they are a washed denim, they feel so much better than that of their non-selvedge, rigid offerings.

From this point, I'm not sure what my next pair will be, I'm seriously considering Rogue Territory and N&F. Obviously Unbranded is the cheapest way to go, but I'm not sure if they will ever be in stock again hahaha.

I do want a pair of raw 511s though, I feel it would really round out my Levi's experience haha.

                    • They will never be in stock again ever. Find out if rogue is chainstitched before you drop the coin on them. They are Sanforized so they wont shrink much but I bet they will stretch a good amount.

I know, I know. I haven't looked into them any more since we talked about them earlier.

I do it all the time. Don't be a pussy.

If that is your excuse to not buy higher quality clothing, then don't pretend that you want high quality clothing because its really not a valid excuse.

                              • I don't buy\wear them, because spending $100+ on a pair of jeans is fucking retarded.
