                        Car Model: '95 Mustang GT
                        Cruising: 2500rpm
Ripping It: 4800rpm. Redlines at 6250, but makes no power after 5k due to restrictive flow on the intake/heads.

On a funny note, my lil bro has a RHD 92-95 sedan with a turbo y7 in it. Spun a rod bearing and started knocking, we turned the rev limiter to 12,000 and watched it bounce the factory 9500 rpm tach until it puked its guts all over the road

Bump I very much like this thread.

                          89 TypeR Hatch.

                          cruising: 3-3500

                          Ripping it: 8K
"on our way back i hit a bump and both of the springs slip off of their seats and slashed both of my front tires."

                          -Dane M

If your not doing this, your doing it wrong.

                              Cruise: 2800rpm shift
Ripping: 6700 rpm (7000rpm redline) - I don't do this anymore...low and slow cruising is sooo much better.

                                Car model: -89 e30 m20b20
                                Cruise: ~2500rpm
Ripping: I must admit... i like hitting the rev limiter. So 6000-6500rpm(6500rpm redline)

Just love the sound of the inline-6 roaring against the limiter, if it kills it ill get a 2,5litre.
