    Car Model: 1988 BMW 535is

    Cruising: ~1500-2000rpm (long gearing FTW: 2800RPM @ 80mph)

    Ripping it: 6000rpm. Redline is 6500, but the power curve drops off at around 5500. I shift at around 6000 so it's back in the power-band. Not like it's fast, but it helps, haha.

      I let the car shift itself. It helps our understanding with each other.

      No, srsly... got an automatic, but you can actually surprisingly tell it how to shift, if you got the hang of it. I don't have the rpms in my head, tho...

            Between 2-3k when I'm not in a rush,

            When givin' her I'll let it get near 6, I guess. I don't really look at the number when I'm at autocross, I just listen and feel. I learned in a car with no tach, so I'm not used to interpreting the number.

                      in 6th at about 2600 im doing 80 on the hwy.

                              My '99 Integra GSR was the most impressive car I have had as far as rev profiles go. Stage 2 cams, stage 2 pistons, port/polish, Spoon throttle body, type-r intake mani, type-r headder, JDM type-r ECU with rev limiter removed.
