    Cruising: 2500 rpm
    Ripping it: 6800 rpm

    Car Model: 2009 volkswagen Jetta tdi
    Cruising: 1700 rpm
    Ripping it: 4500 rpm
    When in doubt, flat out

      93 325is

      cruising- whenever the transmission ecu tells the atf to pressurize and move the tiny balls into the correct slots creating the transmission to shift.

      Ripping it- same thing as cruising but not as frequent.

      I have a automatic.

            My civic isnt anywhere near done... but This is what it Will be:

            Car Model: 1992 Honda Civic (eng. specs unknown at this stage)
            Cruising: 4000 rpm
            Ripping it: 9500 rpm

                    Cruising: 2000 (TRY to save gas) stupid short gears, cruizin 70mph im at like 2700 (turbo kicks in at 2800)
                    Ripping it: 5800 (i do this more often then id like) i hear my fuel cut at 5500 so i kno i need to shift. wish i hada 10k rev limit

                      Cruising: 2800-3000 RPM depending on speed
                      Ripping it: Very rarely but near 6k RPM

                      I barely go into boost when I'm driving around town and stuff, I'll be in 5th gear cruising at like 45mph
