Something is better then nothing. I make 7.57 an hour and its been 4 years.

A few reasons.

gift giving is dumb. if I want something, I buy it. if you want something, go fucking buy it. why should I spend $100 to get you something that you dont want and in return you spend $100 and get me something I dont want. makes no sense.

I **** my family

I dont like mindless obligations. "its the holiday that we all celebrate because its just what we do. so we'll keep on doing it for no reason until everyone dies". and the conversations with family you dont see often is dumb. 15 people having the same convo over and over "how are you. hows work. hows the wife/kids/gf/whatever"

If the holiday falls on a weekday - Im losing money

I totally understand the gift thing, thats why me and my sister tell each other what we want, so that you know you won't get stuff you don't want.

I have no other family in Aus other then my parents and my sister, so there are no dumb family dinner conversations.

But the only reason I like holidays is because I get days off and still get paid for it

I get paid 100% commision. if I dont work, I dont make monies. Like thanksgiving was only a 3 day week for me. fuck that shit.

I had an exgf tell me I ruined christmas for her cause I went on a rant about how gifts are dumb. and if there is something I want that I dont have, its because I cant afford it. So that means it must be too much money that nobody is going to gift it to me. she asked "like what". A new car, house, better paying job? give me any of that for christmas and I'll marry you right fucking now lol
