i was rushing that side, i just wanted to finish. After your under a car for a few hours replacing such a large component it all becomes a blur. Funny thing is i tried being very thorough, no extra screws, shit like that, but i put the damn pad metal side first

How did the pad even stay in there then? Unless you don't take the caliper off when you replace your pads?

Of course it will stay in. Pads have the compound side, and the metal side which is what the piston pushes against. I put the compound side facing the piston, so the metal side was scraping against the rotor. Just fixed it now, but now its like the pad is scraping against sand paper, so it probably wont last long. Oh well, new brakes soon i guess.
