      This.

      This argument makes me tired.

A big part of auto enthusiasm to me is being able to appreciate vehicles outside of your personal preference that are executed well.

I appreciate a quality build regardless of whether or not it's something I would personally do.

      I like em dropped.

Oh I respect tons of cars outside of my preference, my friend is building his Mustang to have 500 whp, thing kicks so much ass. Its awesome to be a part of it as well. Auto enthusiasts all around should be able to respect the work that has gone into a car, even if it isn't their niche.

I don't care what it is, as long as it's well done.

Obviously I prefer some things to others though, but who doesn't?

See, that I completely disagree with. The original manufacturer has no way of controlling what the purchaser does with the wheel, and selling something you own isn't a crime. Theft of intellectual property is. It makes a lot more sense now that I think of it in that light.

Plus, used is probably how I'll be able to afford a good set of wheels.

Playing Devil's advocate here. Only skimmed a lot of this due to time, so I don't know if it's been brought up but here's some more discussion material:

What about reps of wheels no longer in production? Such as the Rota P45r? It's a rep of B*Racing BR5 but that wheel was Japan only (I'm sure some made it over here) and B*R no longer makes it.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

This thread in general took kind of a big sway away from my original idea, but whatevs hahaha.

They don't make RS' anymore, but they are still a very readily available wheel. Reps are wrong. There is no way around it.

Banning someone cause they're selling Rota's is kinda taking it abit far IMO. Theres definately more things on here that should be done before banning of selling Rotas and XXR's.

^ If the warning is there, then you aren't banning them for selling rotas/xxr/etc. you are banning them for not reading the rules.

I was just playing devil's advocate here. I always buy wheels used and refinish them.
