Made a facebook page for the meet. I didn't see a date posted in this thread, so I put in Saturday at 2:00 PM, since I figure that's when the most people will be attending SoWo. Here's the link.

I liked the facebook post, I'll keep up with times and locations here too.

I agree that it would be nice to be closer to the town center, but if we have a big enough group it might be worth going to a different spot within a 5 minute range or something, let's just not set anything in stone yet.

If anyone wants to post a picture or two of what they are bringing, go for it. or keep it a secret, up to you.

Also, I've never been to SoWo, what's a good time to get there and park? I'll be driving up from Atlanta in the morning and will need to wash my car too

This is my 4th time going and its a blast. The party is at the Helendorf hotel? Did you book a room yet?

They have a car was couple of miles outside of Helen GA.

Best time to show up Saturday is as early as you can make it. Everything really starts to clog up around 10:00.

Keep an eye on the South East board on VW Vortex. The durtydubs crew usually organizes both a Friday and Saturday morning caravan to SoWo.

There's a public parking lot around the corner from the Helendorf that's usually a good place to park during the day.

Ok awesome. I was planning on leaving Atlanta at around 5-ish, so get there around 7. So I'd hopefully miss the big rush of people coming in

there's a 4-5 bay wash a few miles away but if you bring soap and sponges there is a hose at the helendorf (wouldn't plan on it for saturday though, just general information I guess)

Even the real car wash will probably get pretty busy, I remember waiting in line for a little while last year.

I will talk to the owner of WaterCooled Society and see who he can provide. I know he will have several photographers onsite anyway and since they will be shooting my car at some point, I'm sure he won't mind covering the Inglorious Bastards meet for free. I'll let you know.
