i made a thread with a few of my pics from the meet in the second post:

The general style discussion forum, as well as a place to post your car, or any car for that matter.

Did anyone get any pictures of this meet? I thought I saw a few people out with cameras.

Good seeing some of you out there, I got there a little late so I wasn't there due to said burnouts... pretty lame but kids will be kids.

thanks for coming out everyone, it was nice to meet some of you!

burnouts are inevitable I think, so maybe next year we can find a place where that can happen without police

Yes that is exactly where it was supposed to be. That building apparently has several businesses inside of it. The Auto and Buggy museum was just one of them.

My question is was that BMW meet at the haunted house where the meet was supposed to be? Someone was just taking a picture of one BMW there and then people just started to gather at that spot.

Lol, and if it wasn't fwd, it was awd.. so VAG and burnouts don't mix.

It was funny to hear some vw drivers respond to burnout request with "I can't!"

My car was stuck in the booth all day so I was unable to make it. What is mostly disappointing is that majority if not every car I saw doing burnouts at SoWo were BMW drivers. It's bad enough the organizers go to the extreme cutting us out of the show, but they loosen their restrictions a bit and we still act like ass-hats.
I dont really enjoy vw fwd burnouts. I doubt many people do. But besides that the burnout issue arises at every meet with open invitation and a younger crowd. It is a force that cannot be stopped unless you invite individuals you know will not. Or take action in shunning the ones that do. This is a large part of the reason i would have liked to make the show at brasstown bald. It is in a more remote location and a drift event could have been held prior to cops ever showing up(not that i would want that to happen) so if you cant stop it find a place it can happen.
