The more common mod for Hondas is to cut holes and leave it as is. Unfortunately, that leaves the bay open to catch all the crap the tires sling up. As for the hood, it looks like he still has plenty of clearance but his towers look a bit higher than other tower mods I've seen.

So over the past week I have made some progress thanks to Toli giving me some motivation and helping me out.

I raised the section next to where the strut bolts up, commonly known to not clear aftermarket control arms when rolling low. I dont have aftermarket arms, but just in case I one day do get some, I dont want to have to redo the bay.

Then started stripping the etch primer to start doing filler work. Takes so much time when you dont half ass things.

And tonight we preped and hi-filled the bay. Its fucking cold over here, but with the flood light on overnight it should do the trick.

Thats it for a while since next week Toli's honda powered silvia will be coming to my place as we are going to make some major changes.

Here's to hoping you get some time to finish it. It was/is a sharp car.

Ill be honest, I miss being able to throw a car around without having to worry if it will bottom out. Although bags are great, they tend to be softer with their ride quality. Good for daily, but also no so good when you throw caution to the wind.
