Updates are ages away while Im working on Toli's s13. In the mean time Im gathering parts and will most likely start putting the engine together etc.

I like the 2 tone thing. I was wanting to do it with my yellow wagon, but not sure I can be arsed spending the money on it now with our new rape laws most likely coming in, meaning a 2nd offence for excessive noise = a crushing....and there's no point point having a quiet rotor, so who knows what I'll do with it.

I was thinking white outside and a nice metallic brown bay, similar to the brown on my RS'.....something away from the overtly bright colours but still unique. Bright magenta would be my pick if you wanted something in your face. My only thing with picking a factory(ish) colour to do the bay is it looks like the bay has been left the old colour of the car(in your case red) and might not stand out as much with all the custom work.

qld sucks for its laws, but its only a matter of time before the other states follow suit.

so we un masked it, put some stuff back on so that it gets it out of the garage, after this shot, we cleaned it out.



the day after, we started moving things.





Toli the sick kent strapping her down, and until im done on his car, this is one of the last updates Ill be doing.

Id say leave the bay as the rest of the car. Good work dude, i wanna swing by soon to sus out some progress !

Another reason I liked red was because I thought about having red accents in the interior.... I might stick to red. lol. The interior might get some small work, I will probably retrim the front and rear seats, and the panels in the door trims. All the plastics and dash are grey, which kinda sucks. I did find a fibreglass overlay in japan, along with a carbon one, but the shipping was killer. Plus if I painted the dash, I'd have to paint everything else. We'll see.

I think magenta or deep, metallic purple would be cool. Maybe throw some rainbow flake in there!

The more common mod for Hondas is to cut holes and leave it as is. Unfortunately, that leaves the bay open to catch all the crap the tires sling up. As for the hood, it looks like he still has plenty of clearance but his towers look a bit higher than other tower mods I've seen.

I will have to modify the hood frame for clearance, but thats not a problem. Originally I made bigger sheetmetal sections that would have come through the bonnet lol.

Does anyone have any input? The body of the car will be white, the whole engine and box will be black with ceramic coated chrome headers, black brake booster and other accents in the bay.

Was thinking a red, then started leaning towards blue, then my favourite colour; Magenta. Still undecided.

I havent given too much away, as I'd like to keep some things till the end, but im still going in circles in my head lol.

Since you said the car will be white and you thought about doing it red, what are your thoughts about a deep red? Kind of like a burgundy?

I think with the engine being mostly black and the other accessories being black, a nice deep red/burgundy would really make the engine bay pop.

Anyways, car is looking good, I liked the little video.
