After a few set backs today, such as my new air compressor blowing all the o rings out of my twenty year old sand blaser, and once I dislodged a chunk of grinding disc from my man tit, I did some work.

Thanks to my pops, who apparently can remove and install glass(who knew) we removed the rest of the glass.

Then hooked a wire brush to the die grinder and did some more work.

    And how it looks now.

I need to go get another grinding disc tomorrow and I might try one of those paint remover discs. To really be honest after feeling kinda down the last few days it felt damn good to destroy some stuff.

Oh and I did my rs lips the exact same way, the sand blaster. Only I looked like I was from the 1970s middle east total bandanna turban head and aviators for eye protection...FTW.
I had a jacket with a hood, a face shield, breathing mask, and a red sox hat. It was pushing 70 degrees out and with the jacket and everything I probably lost 5lbs.

Also not really a car update but this will help me alot. Got the new to me 6hp 30 gal craftsman air compressor hooked up today and added a few more connections in the shop. So now I have 11 different places to connect to the air compressor all through out the shop.

Trust me, picking particulates out of your posterior is superior to the alternative.

4.5" grinding wheels don't always fit in the nooks and crannies. And die grinders take forever.

Today I got the trunk ready for some welding work that needs to be done.

    My weapons of choice.

Pretty much cleaned up everywhere that needed to be cleaned.

This is going to be fun to fix.

And hopefully in the next week or so these guys are going to become friends with the car.

Also for anyone thinking about sandblasting invest in one of these.

Three hours, two showers, and four changes of clothes later, I am still picking sand out of places I didnt know that I had.

I wish you could too, I'm about to start with the welding work and I suck at welding.
