Buy a can of this and spray the inside of all the connectors and grounds. Works magic.

My heart hurts that it is parked on the street too, especially with this shitty rain we're getting. But unfortunately it is safer out the front of the house, then in the alleyway parking we have.

I wouldn't leave it unlocked, but definitely seems to be fine leaving it out the front in the area I am in. I not only lock, but also make sure steering lock is on as well. Just to be double safe.

Only car I owned that had working A/C was the Subaru.
A/C is overrated and will probably be removed, weight saving.

Cosmetic changes will be wheels and tire combination.
Interior changes are undecided, I'm really wanting to strip it right back, install a half cage and Racetech seats.

Basically my ideal version of this car is a daily driver/weekend warrior. I want to be able to drive it to and from work, but also head up through the mountains.

That thing is so awesome! Also what better place to drive it than beautiful socal hahaha. One of my goals is to build an old 356 spyder and drive it from San Diego to San Francisco. Enjoy that thing man I'm sure it's too much fun but can I ask if you have any plans for it? Are you going to revamp the AC system yourself and will this car be seeing any cosmetic modifications?

Thanks for all the love guys, much appreciated!

Hopefully I can turn this into an even more beautiful example, I've got a few plans for her but I think the major thing is that I want to keep it narrow body. This limits my choices on wheel sizes, but I really want to keep her as stock looking as possible on the outside.

I'm considering going on the hunt for a pair of BBS RS012 and RS013's for a rebuild. I think those wrapped in some 245/50/16 NT01's would look very meaty under the narrow body for track purposes.

But for now it's really going to be to get her to run 100%. I believe there is a vacuum leak somewhere, and that she could definitely use a tune up. I've got oil coming to flush the current oil and I really want to get the ignition timing sorted. I have to let her warm up as there is some hesitation when the engine is cold, something that I've read online seems to be the normal on these 2.7l's, but I am sure there is a way to fix it. There is a cold start valve that I've read up on a bit too, sometimes these get stuck shut.

I'm hoping that one weekend I can get her down to the S|W HQ and up on the hoist to take a better look at everything, I'll have to hit Mike up and see what is happening down there.
