My rims came for my GTI about 3 weeks ago, they are a set of Gotti cups. When i bought them they had been very crudely painted with hammerite, looked like someone had put the paint on with a spade tbh! They've since been stripped and blasted, and now my Dad has started refurbing them.
Can't wait till these are back to there former glory, they'll look awesome!
Based off a render my friend made for me last year, you can see that JDO is nearly at the stage i'd always planned to get it too. Just need to get it on the deck and it'l be 99% done.
Amist my smashed dish problem, my friend decided that it would be a good idea to throw his 10" splits on... needless to say they don't fit very well...
Only slightly illegal.
Ahh well, i'm kinda halfway through buying a 100bhp 16v lump conversion for this little shed... only thing it lacks is power
Right, that's it. I'm going to sharpen my pitch fork and go find the fucker...
p.s does this means we're gonna have to wait longer for front spacers?
Trust me it still hurts now....
Well, i'm actually going to be rebuilding the rims.... upping the front dish from 0.5 to 1.0, and dropping the rears from 2.5 to 2... Should get some nice fitment going on
Over here in the UK, Cyclists are generally the most ***** people on the roads. You have two kinds, the nice sort that cycle to work, go out for the odd stroll when it's sunny, and make sure that they are as considerate as possible for other road users, and the you have the complete arsehole's, who think the road evolves around them and no one else. Well i met one last night, when the absolute helmet decided to jump off the curb in front of me, causing me to swerve for him, only to smack the centre curb on the road i was on. Nice one.
Idiot had his headphones in, completely oblivious to the road around him. Should've ran him over really, because it's now going to cost me a fair chunk of money.
