Took the wheel and tire to work today to get it mounted. I knew the mounting machine wouldn't be abe to do it because of the width (arm was too short) BUT i figured id try my luck at doing it by hand.


It took 4 of us to get that fucking tire on, but we got that son bitch on. So, I'm going to come right out and say that. theres more stretch than i wanted. together with the r888 having zero additional rubber around the seating bead it exaggerates it even more, but the look is growing on me. Still not 100% satisfied. But I'm not paying for new inner barrels and three are no larger tires i want to run. SO is what it is.

After work i came home and had yet again another mock up session. Tire still isn't at the height i want it to be at, still more metal to be cut away for it to reach where i want. But so far it looks fantastic!

We also after mounting my tire took my dads project to get it dynode at a local shop.... good god this car is ridiculous. 900hp and 1100 ft lbs of torque. Enough torque to tow a god damn cruise ship. Fucking insane.

Dont worry everyone i havent forgotten about ole girl. Just been busy lately finishing up that caddy project and then getting things put together from out baby shower and just all around getting ready for the baby, hes only a few weeks out now if everything is going according to plan.

Ive also been spening a little bit of money on modding the brz..... new car problems. ill eventually make a thread for it as well.

But i have really hit a standstill until my seat comes in. I mean i coud do knick knack stuff like remove some brackets and what not but id rather just wait till the baby is born and ill have a week off staying home takin care of momma while she recovers, and ill have some time to piddle around a bit.

As of a week ago it was sitting in a port in japan waiting for Bulletproofs container to arrive. By my guess the seat should hopefully be arriving to me in 3 weeks or so. Prolly right when my baby boy is born lol

the camber you see is pretty much what i will be running. -1.8 to -2 in the rear. Maximum forward and lateral traction. Yes there will be a pinch of poke, but i still need to widen the widebody prolly an 1' to cover the contact patch of the tire. where the sidewall and contact patch meeet is about where i want the fender to sit. so prolly 1'' of poke but still zero chance of rubbage.
