I simply bought some Hella stickers from eBay and stuck them on haha, there was creases due to the curvature of the fog lens but it didn't bother me and you didn't see it untill you stared right at it up close

Well ladies and gents this is the end.

I sold the car today for £200, and the owner knew all the faults with it etc - I'm an honest person, and didn't want to rob anyone of their hard earned money.

I'm sorry for being a disappointment and never lowering the car, but I was young and foolish (and quite very extremely poor)

With that said, I'd like to think I did a real nice job of cleaning the Polo up and making it a little more road worthy, even if it didn't love me back and caused me many headaches.

It's taught me valuable life lessons such as vague understandings of mechanics, and that volkswagens are fucking useless and I should never buy one again if I want to live a peaceful life.




Whilst the car was in my possession I started and quit my first ever job, I had my first heartbreak, completed my school education, learned the reality of financing and living as an adult (to a certain extent anyway) met so so soooo many incredible people in the car scene, and started the Candy Showroom grind that I'll be on for the rest of my life.

Although the Polo was a piece of shit, it was mine and I kinda loved it every now and then.

With that said, I'm really excited for the future.

Catch you in my next build thread... now in the mean time... back to looking up E46s on autotrader...

VWs can be hit or miss. Generelly, the older they are, the less problematic they are in my opinion

190e is on the cards, would probably work out cheaper too insurance wise but my friend has a bagged one and I love his, so i'd struggle to make mine as cool as his haha

Only other one i'd consider is a s124 but can't afford insurance

plus bags are cheaper for bmws here...

don't buy a 6n2 I'm still yet to meet someone who had one and didnt have endless problems with it
