Yeah dude I'm pretty confident that thing is static
Pretty werid though, the guys in the 6n2 community are pretty updated when it comes to who drives what
And yet no one knows who the owner of that is, which is a shame cause I'd love to know a bit more about it
If i remember correctly he had a whole leather interior in it which is rather rare
Anyway, been flicking through my thread and crying about how boring my updates are, i appologise
and I've also noticed my vertical pics are a sin so I appologise about that there will be no more of it
Front headlights died, so I went on a mad spree and bought new HID bulbs for the front and LEDs for the rear
What a difference!
Highly recommend them to everyone
You'd be suprised how much better your driving experience is in the dark with some white headlights
And they look really good, and don't blind people either
Plus the beam on the bottom under my numberplate is absolutely amazing
I'll take some proper DSL pics when I get the chance
Also, there was a MK1 golf outside my appartment the other day
so I thought I'd show you americans just how small these Polos are, it's just a bit smaller than a mk1 golf
Loving the car at the moment, the weather here is amazing too at the moment
I keep treating the paint and it's getting better and shinier with every polish
can't really tell the difference in photos but it does sparkle so well in the sun
this is the expensive optional extra shade of black too, which is way more rare than your average black 6n2 so I might as well make the most of it
Also, exciting news, I bought a load of GTI goodies, which got sent off today
Not been so excited about my car in a while, so I'm patiently waiting for them to arrive
I'll grab hi-def pics of it all as soon as I get it, it will make the car look 10x better even at it's current height
Cheers!

Another update, this one is a little bit more special though.
So recently I got a deal I could not refuse.
A GTI splitter, fogs and fog surrounds.
Now if you're into your Polos (which no one here probably is haha) you'd know that
getting your hands on a GTI splitter is bloody impossible. Like they are no where
This guy was splitting his bumper and gave me a real good price.
I sent off my money, and a week later the package got delivered.
Oh my I've not been so excited in such a long time.
So I got out my camera too, with the hope of documenting it all for you
Here it is all laid out before I ripped open the packaging
It was such a pain in the arse to get my old shitty splitter off
But with the help of my little brother, Sonny and Keith we were able to do it
My little brother came in clutch and even found a star pointed screwdriver VW use on all their silly bits of trim.
It took us a good 30-40 minutes but we got it done, and the results are amazing
The fog lights are hanging in there loosely as I still need to get some new bolts, but we fit them in just for the pictures.
I'll get them sorted out properly tomorrow or during the weekend
Right now they're off the car so I can drive it untill I get the bolts
In order to get the splitter on, we had to undo a load of bolts in my wheel well
and then simply yank the bugger off. Real ball ache but we got it done!
Drove the car up onto the curb to give us a litte more room to get underneath it to unclip it
VW have a habbit of using really tight clips it seems
And heres the final outcome, what a difference!
Super pumped with it, exactly what I wanted
Before I got the parts I was thinking of tiniting the fogs yellow
however now they're on they are gonna stay the way they are.
The wiring for the fogs is supposed to be somewhere under my bumper, but I couldn't seem to find it
So for now I have no idea if they're even going to work or if they're just gonna be there for looks
Either way, they are 100% staying and I'm really pleased with them
All I need now for the full GTI look is the rear spoiler, lower bumper honeycombe grill and the GTI Xenon headlights.
I'll defo end up picking the spoiler and the lower grill up, but I'm not a fan of the GTI
headlights so I'm going to stick with my poverty spec ones as I like them haha
Thanks for reading!

With that said, I'm in love with my 6n2
I'll be renewing my insurance and getting rid of my black box in November, so hopefully I'll be able to afford to declare mods then

So bit of a depressing, and painful update
Ended up driving my car into a curb, at lets say... 8mph?
Nah honestly, I was going between 5-10mph pulling out of a car park
I took the left lane out of it, I've literally never done this as I always take the right lane out
Then bang, it wasn't a really big curb but I wouldnt say it was small,
I reckon if I didn't have low profile tyres I would have cleared it no problem.
I ended up bending/twisting my nearside wishbone, snapping the gaiter cover and off setting my wheel alignment
My front tires are ripped to shit now too, the curb thing and a mixture of stupid cornering means they're splitting on the inside tire wall on both sides
Heres what a normal wishbone and gaiter looks like (wishbone is the bottom bit of metal)
Heres what the bent side looks like, the angle makes it look not as bad as it is
The gaiter splitting also means some weird oil stuff has spilled onto the wishbone but whatever it's all getting replaced anyway
This means that my left wheel is about 1cm pushed back compared to my right wheels
The way it should look, can easily fit 3 fingers inbetween the back of the wheel and the bottom of my arch
And heres the bent side, you can just about fit 2 fingers in the same gap
(don't mind the brown discs, they're just dirty as it just rained here)
My steering is also bent, here's the angle of my steering wheel when I drive in a straight line
It's not too of an expensive fix, I'm more annoyed that I can't use my car whilst I have to wait for my parts to arrive and get it fixed
You live and you learn!
On the bright side, it still looks pretty and you can't see the scratches I did to my new lip
I've also got my hands on a broken GTI grill which I have no idea what to do with,
and a real GTI insert badge which is pretty cool and fairly rare, I sort of want to cut it up and make my 16v badge but I feel bad haha
Thanks for reading!

Excited for this month as we'll have a couple more things up on the websitereally cool seeing the insta and our website grow
Anyway, the new wishbone I ordered was a pile of shit - bushings were all cracked
Wouldn't be suprised if my current wishbones had cracked bushings
It would explain the steering wobble over 60mph and knocking sounds if my wheels loose traction
So thats another life lesson learned, buy new parts if it's only an extra £10
The car has been standing still for 9 days now, and it makes me really sad

That was the first thing I replaced in my E36 because experience has taught me that any rubber bushing WILL be bad on an older car, haha.
