Thanks for all the love everyone! Much appreciated! So I realized this thread has become more of a photosharing thing as opposed to an actual build thread, so I figured I would show you guys the work I did to go lower this last week. Here was step one: Replace my cracked trans mount
IMG_4269 by nickwochok, on Flickr
I'm so glad this thing never had a catastrophic failure. Despite having a good amount shaved off and three big cracks, the only symptoms was a slight jutter on launches. Once I replaced that, I wanted to protect the new one, so I shaved it down just a hair so it wouldn't hang too low once I welded up this small skidplate I made.
IMG_4321 by nickwochok, on Flickr
I measured and cut the steel, but my friend who welded it made a little smiley face on the bottomNext on the list was to extend my frame notch. All I've had to do the notch was a 20 year old dremel so this took a while.
IMG_4284 by nickwochok, on Flickr
Luckily due to the design of the frame this is only necessary to do on the passenger side. And don't worry i painted the notch after I took this pic. Also, I had to unclip, bend up, run the ac line along the frame, and zip tie it to a brake line, because if you look at the small curved indent on the rubber axle sleeve, it's been rubbing on the line. It used to be clipped in at that square hole, and compared to its new position it hung a good 2cm lower. Both of these mods worked great, no more rubbing yay!
IMG_4285 by nickwochok, on Flickr
I needed more camber to go lower, So I had to slot my upper strut bolt holes in, and the lower bolt holes out, while running a camber bolt in each hole. All of that to get maybe -3.5 degrees, stupid Fit suspension doesn't allow for the use of camber plates or any other method to get camber.
IMG_4327 by nickwochok, on Flickr
Kind of hard to tell how big the slots are in that crappy pic but the grooved metal you can see if the spindle not the strut, so the slots are pretty much as big as I can make them without risking the lower mount failing. That's it for the front. Now to slam the rear. To do that I bought 4" 11kg Hyperco springs to replace my old 6" 8kg Swift Springs.
IMG_4192 by nickwochok, on Flickr
IMG_4277 by nickwochok, on Flickr
And I used to think those Swifts were short haha. So problem, the Swifts are 70mm ID like they are supposed to be. The Hypercos are 65mm, so they are too small to fit on the perches. I knew this going into it, nobody makes a 4" 70mm ID spring. So solution is to lathe my perches down to a 65mm OD.
IMG_4299 by nickwochok, on Flickr
Not bad for my first time lathing metal. Look how silly those springs look installed
IMG_4276 by nickwochok, on Flickr
Now with this crazy low rear height, I need to prevent the wheels from hitting the fenders. So I bought 3 bump stops for each side to stack so they engage just before the wheels hit.
IMG_4275 by nickwochok, on Flickr
Good plan right? Well I'm lazy and dumb, instead of removing the shock and sliding them onto the shock, I just cut the bumpstops top to bottom so I could pop them on while the shocks are still on the car. Now their structural integrity is gone. So even though the shock is resting on these weakened bump stops, the wheels still hit, although less often. Oh well at least I tried.
That's pretty much everything I did to go lower! Aside from pulling my fenders a bit more. I've got a Mugen rear lip I ordered that should be coming at the end of the week. I'm going to install that and straight pipe the car. That's pretty much the only remaining plans I have for the car this season, I just want to enjoy it. My next big show is Gridlife in Michigan at the end of May. Hope to see some of y'all there!

Or just do it the right way
Sweet car! A seriously dedicated ride height!

My god this is beautiful haha. Definitely some well deserved low for all that effort. It looks amazing. How stiff are the springs you're running?

Thanks so much everyone. I can't believe how many people actually like this car, but that's one thing I've learned about the stance scene, it doesn't matter what chassis you choose, as long as you put in the work to get it slammed as shit. Anyways, I got a new rear lip and exhaust so I figured I'd do a little update. Here's a new roller from before the lip first:

I still can't get over how low this thing is, it blows my mind everyday. Don't mind that bumper flapping in the wind, it pops out almost immediately now. I'm going to try and fix that with a hidden zip tie. I'm not a fan of those quick release things.

There's the lip, a used authentic Mugen. The previous owner cut out the heatshield on the passenger side to fit his after market exhaust, so I'll address that when making my straight pipe. Both tips are essentially faux with the driver's side not even having a pipe leading up to it.

My poor Greddy. Held up so well for how it looks, never got a hole in it or torn off. I'll be keeping this since it's discontinued and is really the only muffler I like for the Fit.
IMG_4498 by nickwochok, on Flickr
Over to the exhaust shop to have my exhaust made to fit the lip, and this is the first thing I notice, the skidplate that is now only half there after a month, great
IMG_4499 by nickwochok, on Flickr
First step, cut out the resonator from my T1R midpipe
IMG_4501 by nickwochok, on Flickr
The black tip I'll be using to fill that big hole and to hide the fact that the triangular tip is actually fake. Now I just have the stock exhaust manifold with the primary cat in it, and after that a secondary cat delete, resonator delete and muffler delete all in 2" piping. Needless to say it's loud and raspy as shit and pops like crazy. I'll have to get a video soon. I love how it sounds, it's exactly what I was going for.

Only pic I have as of now, parked next to my buddies IS300 on graduation day. I love how this lip looks. I never liked it much in pictures, but after seeing several in person at IA, I knew I had to get one. Now the car feels really tied together with the aero all around and how each side has the black accent. I'll be in #Gridlife this weekend so I'll have some actual pics taken then and a photoshoot when I get back.

Canibeat Mini Feature!
A big dream of mine came true last night when I got a Wallpaper Wednesday mini feature on Canibeat. Such an honor to be up there with all those amazing builds that get featured on the site. And to think this is my first car and I bought it bone stock two years ago when I was 16. I'm really excited for what the future holds. I have big plans for next season, I just hope it all works out. Here's a link to the feature: http://www.canibeat.com/2015/06/wall...per-honda-fit/
