How? I don't have adapters yet hahaha. Will wait until the wheels are together as I will need to try a few different sizes to get the best offset... a friend has a few adapters at his place, which I will use for testing when the wheels are done.

So... looks like I will be receiving a rare MK Motorsport front lip soon.

      Looks like this:

So... got this thing to work the other day and it does wonders in the shop! Almost makes for a romantic setting, with the crackling fire noises... now if only women would appreciate a good shop!

The oven provides enough warmth to make painting a breeze.

Got one wheel completely finished and painted the backside of the center on one of the others. Want to get some more stuff done tomorrow.

Paint is still wet, so it's still a bit glossy. Will be matte when it's dried out.

Oh and like I said I picked up that front lip and did a test mount! I quite like it... it's not fitted perfect, just slapped on for a quick test.

            Thanks man!

Sat down today and had a go at making one of the front lips presentable.

A while ago, I already sanded it with 500 grit, so now I sanded it with a few finer papers and as anyone knows, when aluminium gets sanded finer, it's pores get smaller, the surface gets smoother and shine happens. Science, bitch!

Sanded up to 2000 grit, then polished with Nevrdull and after that with Surf City Killer Chrome. I think this'll do.

And one so you can kinda see before and after.

Got the rest of the centers painted today. All that's left is the inner barrels, which I'll do tomorrow, then they're basically ready to go back together after I've polished the remaining dish and ordered the rear dishes (think I might order next week).

Oh, and I had a camera with me instead of a potato for once

                    Thanks!

I promise this is the last boring wheel update haha

Painted the barrels black. Will polish the other front lip this weekend and then all that's left is ordering the rear lips and new hardware. Will do that asap.

So... finally a not-so-boring wheel update!

Gave the wheels a polish with the machine and it came out way better than before when I did it by hand... now it's a real mirror shine! Also added polished stainless steel center caps and picked up a set of adapters for testing (30mm and 45mm)

                        That obviously means... TESTFIT!!!

This is 10x17 ET 35 with 45mm spacers, so effective ET of -10. The 11.25j rears will be about 3.3cm wider, so I figure they should fit perfect with the 30mm spacers, but I will test that in a few days... because I have finally ordered the 4.5 inch lips and they should arrive sometime in the next few days!

And a very quick and dirty pshop of the car lower to better visualize the end result... Imagine this with a 215/45/17 stretched onto the 10x17, just slightly tucking the thread into the fender and the rest poking out. It seems like my plan will work out!
