Mileage is roughly one liter more per 100kms than with conventional fuel. I get about 10 to 13 liters / 100km with the LPG, that equals to 23.5 - 18 MPG.

If you consider that a liter of LPG costs around 0.64€ (in US terms that would be 3.13 $ per gallon) and a liter of conventional fuel is at least 1.49€ (which in US terms would be 7.30$ per gallon) it saves A LOT.

Soon! Getting some new 3.25" and 4.5" lips soon... only need to get some money together first.

Started work on the wheels. Sanded one of the inner halves so it's nearly ready for a bit of filler and then paint.

Will need to have this wheel checked for balance though, as I discovered this... if it doesn't run straight I'll have to have it straightened. Not a big deal.

Got a pair of way better 3.25 inch lips from a friend. One of them had a few scuff marks, which I sanded out with 80 - 150 - 320. Can still see them a bit but once everything's polished you won't really notice. Sanded the lip with 500 grit next. Don't have any higher grit at the moment, but I think my next steps will probably be 800 -1000 -1500 -2000.

Slow progress, but at least something's happening.

                    Thanks!

Earlier today, I got around to painting one of the wheel centers to see how it would look. I like it. Paint has a slight orange peel-y finish, which is apparently normal with this kind of paint (it's Belton Molotow graffiti paint), I'll see how it looks like when it's dry, kind of like it. Either keep it that way or give it a fine sand and spray clear over them.

Will get around to ordering the 4.5" lips for the rears next month.

For sure I'll subscribe! Some month ago I was also looking for some E39 Touring. What kind of coils you will install? You often get just adjustable in the front and fixed in the back. Do you have the same problem?

                            Haha, thanks.

I stopped by the garage briefly earlier today to have a look at how the paint looks when it's fully cured. Nice and smooth, matte with a tiny hint of shine. Really like the finish.
Originally I was going to clear coat them, but as I like the finish and this paint IS hard and resistant to chemicals (gas etc.), I'm actually thinking of leaving it like this.
