        Commifornia! Love it.

Loekaaz should buy the headlights and sell them to you for a small profit. That way everyone is happy.

The paint is really cleaning up, nice work

Parts finally got here to make the Mercedes run. After hooking it all up, I blew a fuel line. Where is a brick wall to slam my head into. #w126 #mercedesbenz #mercedes

I want to feel the power of the V8 so bad it's killing me. On top of that my battery died. Urgh

Okay so I converted it to a single pump. I had to make some home made solutions. So after about $40 in copper tubing parts at Lowes, I made some parts. This is my first time sweating pipe. But no leaks and it seems to be working.

What's the benefit of a single pump?

simplicity, cheaper to replace. both of mine were dead.

Maybe I should keep it stock in that regards, time will tell how it works out.

yeah well that sounds logical. Hopefully its strong enough to pump out without starving the engine

That's what I'd be worried about. That's a big thirsty motor.

Are you just using a single stock pump or is that a beefier one than original?

still can't get it to have any power and rev above 3000

i've replaced the strainer, fuel filter and pumps.

decided to have a go with the fuel distributor and injectors. After cracking open the pipes a little i noticed some brown crap coming out. Then I pulled an injector and some crap came out of it. So i decided it was time to clean them. I bought a bucket of carb cleaner and let them sit for a few hours, hoping to dissolve all the crap in them.

This is the right side of the engine. nice and shiny now. now I'm working on the left side.
