  • Time to make a bad ass down pipe/exhaust.
    Vibrant 304SS 4"
    Oval to fit past the starter and tuck up under the car so it doesn't scrape.

      you should just buy 5" round pipe, make your exhaust and oval it the right way... on the road like a man!

      • Curious to see how you like oval pipe... My exhaust has no center stuff, I ran oval under there once with the section area of 3" diameter. Sounded terrible! The same set up with round 2.75" and it really changes the sound. Honestly every car is different in sound so it might work out!

            • Down pipe is all tacked together, supposed to be 60° tomorrow so I'll weld it all up. Need to have my brother ceramic coat the turbo and down pipe.

                    Picked up my supplies to paint the mtech 2 to match.
                    Diff should be back from Thayer motorsports soon and I'll order my driveshaft then.
                    Feels good to see the car wrapping up.

                      • I never post about my e28, but it's finally starting to come together.
                        Got an eBay pfeba lip for my euro bumper and condor Speedshop control arm bushings to fix the slop. Sent out my bbs rc041 faces to be machined for 3 piece sandwich mount and ordered 3" and 3.5" lips for them and cut the old barrels to reuse them.

                          • Waiting on my diff to come back so I can order a driveshaft for e30.
                            So I figured why not put the equips on the e28 for now.
                            Looks so good, guess I'll have to decide if I want the bbs on the e30 maybe.

                            • Bad picture, but cut the bottom half of the radiator support off and replaced with tubing so I could fit my fan easier. Also welded up brackets and bungs to radiator so I can mount it and make coolant piping tomorrow. Even had to shorten the lower inlet since there's barely any real estate left in the engine bay.





                              Down pipe all tacked up, ignore the last piece with big ass gap.
