Appreciate it man. Yeah, that pipe is literally AutoZone piping exhaust clamped to the end of stock muffler. It was a spur of the moment idea that cost me like 7$. I plan on doing it correctly with mandrel bends, and welding to make it legit. This is just a feeler.

Once again, thanks for showing the love. This car is all laughs and fun, no seriousness here, and I think that's how it should be.

Also, to the dislikers of my wheels, I must admit I'm not exactly a fan either. They do work though. Once this thing sells..

My pre-car build (fully built Honda CRF50F pit bike, TON of fun there), I plan on getting some wheels. I'm not exactly sure what I want to get. I'm completely open to suggestions. I'm thinking some Diamond Racing wheels in some more aggressive specs, possibly 15x8.25 0 offset. Yeah, they have to be fake wheels, sorry, haha.

Can't go wrong with Diamond steelies! Ignore the trollfag above, the fact he's taking the time to come back to this thread and respond to you and everyone else's comments, and say something stupid, is saying he's paying attention to your thread. So you're definitely doing something right to gain his attention.

      dust them shoulders off

Looking good for being on a budget, we've all been there. Don't let some H A T E R tell you you're doing it wrong cause they simply can't afford the type of parts they wished was on their car (if the trollfag even has one to begin with).

      Keep doing what you do!

Thanks man, appreciate the love. Got my favorite 15x8 0et's I'm going to get and swap my tires over once I sell my pit bike and get the money together. Keeping them a secret, but they have quite the lip going. Anyway, I'll be plasti-dipping the inner section of my XXR's black this weekend and polishing the lips up just so they're all one color. Not going for perfection, just some symmetry.

Dude the civic looks great. Not everyone can afford "brand name" stuff. I understand, as long as it looks good it looks good. I like the progress man.

Been getting offers on the 50 back and fourth. Wheels STILL aren't done, it keeps raining every day I have the ambition to do them. Been riding around slammed, having a blast per usual. Some pics to keep the lurkers lurkin'.

Btw, I can be found on Instagram (omg follow me so my irl friends dont think im a loser!!!) at tuckintom in case you'd like to see more frequent pictures of the car.

Anyway, sorry for the poor quality pictures, thanks social media.

And I found an old pic of my other Civic when I thought I was REAL-LOW on those Ksport lowering springs DAYUM.

Thanks for the love guys, appreciate it. Once again we had a dreary rainy day, and no wheel work was had. My exhaust has slowly begun to grind itself away and fall off. With my three friends including myself in the car, we got some funny comments from a lifted Duramax, as well as a Jeep. These comments including "You're throwing sparks everywhere, that thing is on the fucking ground." and "You know every bump you're showering sparks right?" And one from a teacher of mine.. "Oh, you're that car that can't get over the speed bumps, that's stupid."

                      lol

Some more pics because you guys seem to like pitchers.

Fender is a little jacked because I had a friend yank up on it whilst tightening it for less rubbing, lol.

Also, on a much more serious note, I have a solution for a very common Civic chassis issue.

It seems when you run a fatter profile tire, at full lock you appear to get quite severe rubbing spots where the strut tower comes down into an "L" shape in the inner wheel well. Over time, mine actually rubbed little slits on the corner of the "L" and that was a cause for concern. How structurally unsafe is it, I doubt it was going to hurt anything, as it wasn't a crack, but I wanted full lock turning without extreme issues. So, I had a good friend of a friend essentially notch the corner of the L, and weld in thicker replacement metal on both the inside and outside of the bay / wheel well. Now there's almost zero rubbing if any, and I feel much better knowing there's some thick reinforced metal there. I realize it's not the cleanest patches, but hey, I'm going to make them look just fine when I get some warm weather and decent paint.

went a little bit lower in the rear. started raining and hailing (wtf new england) before i could work on the wheels. rake should be gone, exhaust fell off before i could get good pics, had to remedy that and then it was dark. i can foresee lock rings coming out this summer when i take my coils apart to clean them.

I'm looking out the window in school like yay, it's nice out, I can grab some pictures of the lower car for all the super interested people on the internet! Get out of school, and it's pouring. I quit, lol. I'll have some pictures of the new height, sits so much better without the rake, quite happy actually. Lock rings probably coming out this summer.

Wheels will be done eventually. I'm saving for new wheels already though.

                          And they're going

                          to

                          be

                          fake!

I'm really stuck between these wheels:

                          JNC 003 15x8 0 offset, 4" lip!!

Or going with Diamond Racing Wheels in custom specs, which after a lot of dicking around on WillTheyFit, I've come to the conclusion I'd like to try...

15 x 9 with a 15 offset, essentially the same poke as 15x8 0 offset, just with moar stretch and moar wow factor.

Both cost about the same, if you guys have opinions I'd love to hear them as I'm pretty stuck on what I want to do.

Hmm, probably the JNC's because I've seen too many hatches with Diamond steelies but in the end, its your car!

Yeah, I really do like the JNCs! I've actually never seen them in person, and the lips look quite big! I'm thinking a 15x9 on those, with the larger lip. Stretch seems realistic for a daily driver, they're affordable, and will poke just enough to look great but not make me have to hammer the rear fenders.
