Definitely jnc's. Diamond steelies are meh at best, plus they aren't hub centric so they ride horrible

I've been picking up some extra shifts at the hell hole. Hopefully looking at new wheels within a month from now if all goes as planned. Never know with this car. Definitely going for the 15x8 0 offset JNC's. Real good price, and I feel that if I went with anything wider I'd be begging for huge rubbing issues and camber plates; I need tires to last a good bit lol & this turd needs to be somewhat reliable as a DD lol. Now, bronze or XXXX and a polished lip...
Pics of the dropped ass soon as possible!

Out of the choices I'd pick the JNC's....but, once the money is saved for dem wheels why don't you have a last scrounge around for some other wheels.
You never know what the craigslist gods will throw at you before you pull the trigger.
Keep the good work up, I wanna see dat dropped ass.

I saw a huge puddle
i was scared
i was at work
i look under the front of the car from the drive-thru window
there is this puddle
oh no please
i can't go check on it manager would FREAK
wait another four hours biting my nails that it was a rain puddle and not my oil puking all over the parking lot
anticipation.
run outside after my shitft (shift)
check the oil anxiously
thank goodness, its there (most of it, its a honda, it burns about a quart every 1,000 miles if i had to speculate)
So anyway, back to business. Selling useless crap for the Civic, stacking them BK hours on the hunt for some 400-450$ 15x8 - 15x9 0 offset wheels.
I'm not dead set on the JNCs by any means, anyone know any good rep wheels, let me know! I'm not going to buy them because people think they're cool, I'm just an optimistic person when it comes to the opinion of other stance-orientated people.
Ass drop pics tomorrow.
Also, taking the "blast pipe" if you'd call it that off. Muffler is half separated from the cat back piping because I've pretty much drug through the entire exhaust system. Going to hack the muffler clean off, so my Honda sounds well, like a Honda, and not a dying horse.Last edited by Dremetos; 05-30-2014, 10:55 PM.

The back seat isn't always useless, sometimes it's a nice alternative to a mattress
It's always nice to keep your options open and have a trawl around. Even if it's so you get new wheels cheaper.Originally posted by FunfGangBut lol at the "meaty look" "coming back".Originally posted by DudermageeXXr's, homey.

Get your money together and just hunt for something legit. I was in the same boat as you with my 2002 when looking at wheels then stumbled across the perfect wheels for cheaper than knockoffs. Even if they need redone, its better to just buy a set of legit wheels instead of throwing money away at knockoffs that never keep their value.

So.. the pit bike sold, time to buy wheels..
I'm stuck between 15x8, 15x8.5, and 15x9. Anyone know if 15x9 stretch with 195/45/15's is going to be too much for daily driving. My parents need to not think it's absolutely insane. They think 15x8 is fine, but none of my buddies have bigger. I make the money, but what they say goes as far as my safety, which I respect fully. If 15x9 is too much, I have the perfect wheels I want lined up for 8.5.
What do you guys think?
Plus, I'd like to be able to mount these w/out a cheetah and a lot of frustration.
Also, to 99sil-teg, I'd love to do that, but if I hit a pothole or curb a 2-piece wheel I got for cheap, it won't be cheap to buy just one. I like to prepare for the worst and expect the best because that's how life is, especially for a broke teen, bahaha.

WHEELS ORDERED. Decided to go balls out so I'd never have to worry about wheels again.
JNC 15x9 0 offset. 4" lip, going for that soda can fitment.
Got white faces with polished lips, I feel it will flow well with the red paint.
Delivery expected between the 4th and 10th. Getting my old tires off my 7's to get those sold asap. Already have a shop lined up to do the mounting, shouldn't be too bad I just don't have a Cheetah machine.
so now it's time to get to work on the body once school's out on the 13th. bumpers painted, doors replaced, interior work. make this thing fake wheel stance works MATERIAL.

Wheels are going to look tits man
What tires size are you going with? I would go with a 195/40 on a 9 inch wheel but thats just me

Also, hacking the muffler off, tired of the horrible noise it makes, lol. Plus it has grown on me as stupid, and will be treated as such.

So, I found a hatch with my specs..
And I'm a good bit lower than that...................
this is going to be amazing i thinks.
i plan on doing the no-camber look in the rear like Blakeb, who is also running 15x9's. I love the look, and i really do need my tires to last as much as possible. fenders are a little rusty on the insides, so they're eventually going to be replaced anyway probably, so i don't mind making them get turnt up.
Blakeb's sex machine with 165's O.O
LOVE his car, i see it as a huge inspiration for my build, it's the same thing. a 98 roma red DX hatch

I found this thread by complete chance. Was really suprised to see it. 👍 I dd this setup but I have days where I really wish I had a bigger tire. I debeaded one doing 75 on the freeway and it was quite scary. Luckily I have a set of 165s in my room so I didn't have to wait to order one. Good luck in your build you're going in the right direction 👌🚗💨
