That looks amazing! Seriously great! And as long as fake parts are relatively safe, who cares! I'm rocking Volk reps. I wish I had this motivation to build my Z32 (I'm in HS too). On another note, my only suggestion would be plasti-dipping all the black parts, like the side skirts and door trim. It just makes cars look so much newer with non-faded trim.

Good luck in your build you're going in the right direction 👌🚗💨

Nice choice of wheels. I was eyeballing those for my Teg as a set of "nice wheels to roll on before I get money for legit wheels"
But in the end, real vs fake, it don't matter as long as you think the car looks good. Keep on rocking. This is one of my favorite threads on S/W, mainly because because you have a good clean build going and you do what you want. /dickriding over

To keep morale up, here's a pathetic picture of it all tucked away with no spacers sitting sunk harder than the Titanic. Drivers side skirt fell off, but I have it, lol. Daily'ing my mom's 2005 SWAGon Focus, it's a 5-speed complete with no tachometer, so it's pretty much an F1 car. Gets up and spins second harder than any D-series Honda I've driven, but that's not saying much. This always ends up with me whenever the Civic is down, and if it gets stolen or totaled, you'll be seeing a Focus on 15x9's.
Wheels are on their way here from California, stay tuned..

Kidding: if I had an RWD car I'd want to have fun with it too.

Okay so, a small update.
Wheels should be here for Tuesday if all goes well. Car probably won't be drivable until the rear camber arms show up and are installed, but you never know. After the wheels show up, I'll need to take a day out to go get the tires all situated, and depending, install the camber arms. So we're looking hard at the middle of next week for it being ready to drive and get some pictures.
Anyway, spent an hour getting this turd on four stands today, it's absolute hell. Also got some cute under body pictures for you scar fetish lovers out there!

You really have no idea what that means to me, lol. Makes the effort worth every second, and I wouldn't do a thing differently. Feels good to have approval from peers, as douchey and egotistical as that sounds, I can't deny it; especially because I'm not some scene junky with sticker bombed panels, band-aid stickers, and rusted out body panels that typically don't rust out.Last edited by Dremetos; 06-08-2014, 06:57 PM.
