Spend the whole Saturday working on my car, it was a nice weather here in Cali and it was perfect.
Took the front subrfame out, grinded it to bear metal, still need to smooth it out and it will be ready for clear coatcause who needs paint. The reason for keeping it this color is to show what car is really made of, its original state of where it came from, and itll be different
I know some of you will dislike this idea, but I recently started a project for the house out of 8 cylinder block that I was craving for awhile and got an opportunity I could not pass on. I scooped up an engine out of 1967 Ford or something else not sure exactly what it was. The thing was destroyed, covered in layers of rust, and was not moved in years, 4th cylinder rod shot through the oil pan and block and there is no way I will be fixing it, so I decided to take advantage of it and make it into what I always wanted, "A Coffee Table"
. First I disassembled it, pulled the heads out and each cylinder had rust all over them, was a bit of a pita to pull the pistons and rods out, but with 2x4 piece of wood and hammer it came right out
. Will be salvaging some of the stuff and see what else I can create out of it. At the moment I need to drop it off at the shop to clean it up, polish it and paint it, should look good when it finished

I love wire tuck jobs, watching them anyway. Never done it myself but I can't wait to get a shed to do it...

In for more on this! Lovin it so far!!!Originally posted by JC.'Stance' doesn't have to be scraping your car along the floor, that is simply the scene that has caught on. As long as your car looks amazing (in your eyes) while your rolling down the street, that is your own personal perfect stance.
Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic.
