Checking back in on this.... I'm reeling. I miss my 2G every time I see one.

also, here's another vote to round off that duckbill...

    Some more pictures from Sunday-Funday

Decided to try something different and made coolant overflow tank out if VOSS bottle, came out pretty clean, it will be covered in aluminum enclosure with rubber layer in between. We will see how it all works out

I apologize for not keeping up with updates, here's small update on CHLTRTL tune and dyno

Ran into couple issue with tire fitment, every time I turn left the tire would touch part of the frame and cut the pieces of rubber out, so had to modify the frame a bit. Welds are shitty but it holds well and with purpose.

Also wheel wells had sharp edge which also would scrape on front tires, eliminated….
    before

    And after

Threw in 4 wastegate springs equivalent to 20psi, let me tell you, it was not fun trying to screw the lid back on haha

Screwed in all oil pressure and oil temp sensors, the weird thing to me is that car is built in united states but the thread are BSPT :/ and all the sensor threads are NPT, like WHAT THE HELL, but it all worked out in the end, tapped oil pressure sensor with 1/8npt which is one thread off from 1/8bspt, put rtv, no leaks so far. Got new fitting 3/4bpst mail to 1/8npt female, teflon tape, no leaks. Me like it. Everything works as it should.

April 3rd, Sunday, was a great day. Was finally able to tune and dyno the car
It was adventure to get the car to the shop. First off all it took as about 40 minutes just to load the car on tow truck, just because driver didn’t know what the hell he was doing lol

Unload was less than 5 minutes.
But that is just half of the story.
We get to the shop and mustang dyno is not in the ground but on top of the ground and the space between the ramp and the wall exactly 1 car length, explain that. It took us another 30-60 minutes just to get the car over the rollers and onto the dyno.

After everything was prepped and in place Beau aka BBR Tuning got to do his magic

Ran into couple small issues, nothing major, gapped spark plugs at 15,
As Beau began to dyno the car clutch started slipping and would not hold at higher speeds, so we were able only to get 304HP with 335TRQ on first pull, and then 308HP with 338TRQ. Not bad for shitty clutch.

The only changes I would do would be to take a couple inches off the end of the duck-tale. Otherwise you're killing it.

I hear you, I want something different from everyone's duckbills, I want to give it some sharp edge to this curvy body, but if you notice its only the top edges that are sharp every other line follows the curvature of the rear quarter panels, but non the less I might still curve the edges

maybe you are right, but don't forget, the car is not done yet, still need to work on front fenders and quarter panels.Once everything is set and done it might tie everything together. I tried to make the spoiler to flow with the body of the car when you look at it from the side, and aggressive from the back, didn't want to make it all round and small. I built it with purpose

And I am back to ruining this thing. Got some time to work on duck bill
Started cleaning up the trunk and found half an inch thick bondo all over it from previous shop when it was painted, which turned my garage in post-apocalyptic forgotten place

    Took insides out
