Source new set of wheels and start planning a full rebuild with 5-6 inch lips
Order my one off camber plates for the front
Install my rear one off camber arms and toe links
      Start cleaning up small details.

            • Jeep found a home in the garage tonight. We dropped the entire suspension in preparation for tomorrows install. If I get a few minutes tonight I'll disassemble the coilovers and begin slipping the bags over them to cut down on some more time tomorrow.

It should be a fun day and I plan on recording the entire install and time lapsing it.

I can't wait to be done, I might just take a nap when I finish.

              • Glad to see it moving along so quickly. Any hints @ what the wheels are going to be? I'm guessing something full faced since you ***** the way your brakes looked with spoked wheels...I **** secrets!

                • Big lipped, VIP influenced wheels. When I finish the rebuild, hopefully I'll be sitting around 5 or 6 inch lips.

We are grabbing breakfast then starting the work.
I'm waiting until air is done to decide if I need to step down to 18s. I'd like to just for the sake of tire costs. My tires were $350 a piece for not so top of the line, compared to $112 a piece for top of the line 18s.

                  • Well we started to install the bags and realized I need 1/4 NPT 90* For the bags. As the leader line sits too tall for it to sit flush on the coilover.

Also, I don't have the fittings to connect the leader line to the 1/4 NPT or 3/8 PTC

On the hunt for those currently.

                    • It was a bittersweet night. After 14 hours today we got them all installed and finally got the compressors on. I have so many leaks, it's dropping about 20psi a minute with the compressors on. I was given permission to garage it for the night and come back tomorrow after work and they are even volunteering to take me to work and back since I can't drive it safely.

                      SO MANY LEAKS.

It took forever to get the compressors on, everything I read had a different way of wiring the relays.

                      EVEN MY GAUGES HAVE LEAKS.

Glad to hear it is coming along. We all have those situations. Sometimes it goes perfect first try other times nothing goes right. Keep your head up and it will get sorted out

                        • You'll be fighting leaks for a bit, that's just how it goes with NPT fittings. You'll get it straightened out. For future reference, get your management installed and leak-free before installing the bags.

How did you wind up wiring your relays? I can't think of all that many ways to wire up a 5-pin relay...

It just seemed every diagram I pulled up had things switched on the relay. And whenever I turned the car over all you heard was "click" and then silence.

My problem was I was actually trying to use the ignition wire as a critical wire. Turns out, if you are running switchspeed and a mechanical pressure switch the ECU ignition wire is just ignored.

But all the guides I opened up had the constant powers, switch, and the jumpers from the pressure switch all jumbled up.

How should I go about preventing the PTC on the gauges from leaking? Can I just tape the end? Or is there a trick?

Thank you both. I'm really trying to push the limits of this platform. Currently I'm the most modified in the world (that's documented their build), and continue to keep it that way.

While everything was torn apart, I threw on my new tubular camber arms and played around with them just a little bit. I'm in love.

Sad part is, I'm not laying frame. I'm not sure how to really make the bags sit lower, because I need all the lift I can get right now. It may require me stepping down to 18s like I had planned.

Off to work then get back to leak testing!

But for now, I give you this.
