They are from an S-Class. Not sure yet. I picked them up this afternoon for $100 bucks. Sold the stock wheels to some dude yesterday for $150. HA HA HA..
I found out they are made by Centra. They are a 16x8 all around. They are chromed and in need of repair. Not sure if I can strip the chrome and paint them.
cleaned up the engine bay a bit more. cut out the battery box. i'm going to relocate it to the trunk.
Then i pulled most of the wiring. i'm going to try to figure out if i can more most of it in the trunk as well. Also started pulling the dash and seats out.
Some more of the engine bay.
Tons of cancer cancer on the driverside. its going to take forever to get this done. trying to cut out all the cancer then start welding in new pieces.
What state/or country was this car form? up in NY, that's about how all garage or yard specials look.. My closest friend's father has a 1960s(?) corvette stingray that looks like that on the inside..such a waste..He has no plans of restoring it..
EDIT: do you have the inner caps for the other 3 wheels? pet peeve of mine XD
i have 3 caps. I'm one short. I need to find another one. but have not had much luck.
I thought about going capless, I don't know.
I can't even find anyone to re-chrome the wheels. I think I'll just strip the chrome and polish them out. Then clear coat them. I like the wheels though.
I bought the car up in Wyoming. We think it sat in a field for half its life. Everything under the dash looks brand new. the interior looks new as well.
kind of a shame someone let this thing die like this.
Windshield has to come out to remove dash. I read it could be done without, but after fighting with mine for an hour after removing all the hardware, I figured it wasn't worth the hassle, and there was absolutely no way it was ever going to go back in with the windshield in place.
