Just a little update for y'all (which admittedly isn't 100% about the car itself), I bought this little guy:
It's just a Nikon D3000, entry-level DSLR from 2009-2010 or so. I've started dipping my toe into the photography water so not worth spending a lot of money when I don't know if I have any talent or not lol. But I think it'll be pretty fun.
Also got a 50mm 1.8 (which won't autofocus) and my dad gave me his ancient 28mm and 35-105mm from the 1980s.
Been dealing with some stupid shit in the tire department but after driving all around Durham today I finally found a 215/35/19 that wasn't completely ruined. Got the front wheels back on (I'd only been using them for short around town distances because of a bubble in my sidewall), washed the car, and took some pics. Really liking the less-stickers look!
I would really love feedback on making my shots better if any photo people are reading this.
Now the side skirt extensions I made are holding up and looking OK, but I did find a front lip for $120 or so. http://www.buytaillights.com/product...t-Bumpers.html
It doesn't fit my car 100% correctly but I should be able to mount it.

Oh hey welcome to the dslr club.
Your shots are actually really good. Its pretty hard to get shitty pictures with a dslr unless you're actually mentally handicapped.

Bored at work so photo dump/end-of-summer update on the car.
Stepped up to 225/35 fronts which (knock on wood) has solved the issue of tires debeading. Hopefully. A 215/35 on a 9.5 isn't that huge of a stretch but the front end of this car is PIGFAT HEAVY.
Also, upgraded from a D3000 to a D3100 and have tried to take better photos.
Shout out to my amazing girlfriend who puts up with all my car shit and has a build of her own going on! It's crazy to consider blowing nearly all of your savings on a set of Weds Kranze Rapiers and be told to go for it...
But the biggest "mod" I guess is that I had a buddy of mine design some side livery/graphics/whatever you wanna call it for the car. I know it sounds kinda dumb but I'm really stoked to put these on. The car is such a dark color that it really blends in especially in low light situations so this should add some contrast!
And here's a render of what it should look like (Text isn't the same but whatever). It's sort of a chrome/silver hybrid. Questions, comments, concerns?

Absolutely incredible car though, good luck
Originally posted by royalife View Posti think the decals look dope! it matches the trim around the windows so it flows from the trim to the decals to the wheels. good lookin

I couldn't decide what color to do honestly but I chose the chrome because it contrasts with the darkness of the paint and kind of brings the car out more when you look at it. Also, it matches the faces of the wheels. Most people like these graphics "ghosted" but I dunno I just wanted to see how chrome would do! Thanks man!
That was my reasoning exactly!!

Well guys, the livery finally showed up and got it on the car. I'm really happy with it actually!
Note: I know it looks like it's curved downwards but it's not. The rear door kind of pushes outward and it makes it look like it slants down. Actually, we used a level to make sure it was straight, then tilted the back end up another few inches!!
