The thread you're talking about isn't mine. I think he bought the cheap ebay ones and cut off some excess metal to keep them from hitting. The wheels he was running are much more aggressive than yours. He was running 16x9.5s with -10 offset.

my bad I didnt see the link up above, just checked it out right now gotta say looks pretty awesome. Really like the squared fogs. And also really aggressive fitment diggin it man.
My plan is to simply clean it up wheels coils, motor run through, interior scrub. A perfect gas sipper for daily use.
I love the body shape on these wagons so dope!
Anyways ill keep posting as my build comes along.

im tearing it up with this thing, took off my rear trailing arms was thinking on doing rear disk conversion but didnt know what i was actually getting myself into. lol. ill post pictures a lil later total fail but at least i learned something new about this wagon once again.

if i knew earlier that these were kinda popular among some id keep em. but sold em to get a little more $$ to invest into this build

Rear disc conversion attempt

So here is my attempt with rear disc conversion. Definitely wasted my time with this shit but i learned yet another weird thing about these wagons.
I searched and looked spent hours trying to find some info on rear disc conversions but apparently couldnt at the moment. I decided to go at it and took the shitty drums out and staring tearing everything of with confidence
I have lots of different rear trailing arms sets just chilling at the garage so i started piecing things up from a 94+ integra which later i found out them trailings arms dont fit the wagon chasis because the integra trailings arms are shorter. "smart me" uhm.
another attempt was to take off the integra hub and install it on the wagon trailing arm, btw those hexi bolts were a Beezitch to take off had to drill some out!
i got everything off and lined up and the freaking integra hub isnt long enough to bolt in to the civic trailing arm in the back, so much with success!
i also found some info online with this one guy that actually made integra hubs work on the civic trails but he had to hammer the shit out of the part where the hub bolts on to the trailing arm, after reading that feed it seemed to ghetto and i dont have a welder which could of been another option by drilling the back metal piece from civic wagon trailing arm throwing it away and using the integra back trailing arm metal piece, that way it could of bolted on nicely.
but so much for that.. i dont know how to weld and dont have one. just decided to close this down and put the huge ass 9".5 drums back lol. oh well

my previous theft recovery honda rebuilds

decided to share some of my previous honda theft recovery rebuilds.
so over the years style has changed and these were some of not so stanced hondas ive begun my car scene with. noob beginner car builds. lol
from boredom decided to share of what kinda of background i come from, and yes i was a hardcore honda guy a few years back in that jdm game for the longest time until this stanced out stuff really got my attention

anyways here are some restores ive done over the years of growing up and getting to know how to do some of my own work, motor swaps, clutch, and etc, nothing to wowing but i learned along the way. still learning till this day.

1994 Honda delsol Si (stolen recovery) 54k miles only bought for 300 rolling shell


after finding parts and painting it turned out like this

dropped a obd1 b18b1, nothing special just clean stock ready for someone to build

interior was restored, hella clean interior. turned out nice.


1999 honda civic ex coupe theft recovery build




found an actual oem 99-00 si front end in really good shape


after paint and hours of aligning front end, interior restore and some misc motor work came out to look like this.

Glad you decided to avoid banging out that control arm to fit that bolt. Fuckin' sketchy is what that is. No good way to get the longer stock bolt into the Integra hub?

Yeah i was like WTF is this hell no. way to weird for me i tried many different attempt with fitment but no luck with the bolt which is a part of the actual hub itself so theirs no way to extend it without a welder i got a picture to show you what i mean but this if you look closely the thread bolt that sticks into the trailing arm is a part of the hub. so after back brakes dont do much work anyway so decided to suck it up slap those drums back in.

Presents came in, Ground control coils and skunk2 pro series UCAs

The good shit came in finally
My Ground Control Coilovers that are specifically made to fit the Koni Sports (nice and snug not like my shitty ebay coils that bounced around"
Also my Skunk 2 pro series Front UCA's came in too!
Didnt need to order Koni Sports because i already had a used set from a 94 teggy part out which pretty much i got for ZERO dollas

Well I decided to start piecing stuff together today after work not much done because i have doubts in the Ebay tophats that im not sure if i should use or not? If anyone has input on this let me know. Or maybe i should just get Ground Control tops hats and call it a day
The eBay top-hats these bushings that are hella stiff not sure if it will cause me issues. I have pictures on what i mean and also had a question to the people that installed top hats on their suspension. Pictures down below will do the talking because it will take me a while to actually explain on what i mean.

Btw the coils are set to the highest level because i was check them out and set them their so the spring doesnt flop around since they are still no installed. But i will be maxing it out once i put them into the wagon

So my rear suspension set will not have top-hats as seen in the pictures because i dont want the long as hats sticking out of my quarter panel plastic trim, and there is not much stress on the rear end anyway.
My front setup will definitely have top-hats just unsure if i should use these eBay ones?
