Picked up these bad boy Brembo's from a Mercedes clk black series a couple months ago, now the time has come to hang them!
Mocking up the brakes, making sure everything clears
Rear rotor and everything looks good so far
Front caliper mounts, just a few welds left and its complete
Mounted and complete, rears still need some work
Just for size comparison here are the factory front brakes compared to the Mercedes black series Brembo's
The rears
There will be more when I finish the rear mounts. The yellow is not staying, McDonald theme is so played out.Last edited by EasySpeed*Inc; 04-25-2014, 10:41 PM.

Nice riveting job, I only see one smiley haha. Also seeing clecos again gives me nightmares of doing sheet metal in school.

Engine is tucked in! Sorry no pics of the shoehorning, I had all hands on deck trying to keep it from bashing the fresh paint. Anyways first on the list is the radiator upper mount.
Basically done by the time I decided I should be taking some pictures
Rivets will be very prevalent in this build so everyone better like that shit, its a PITA!
If your asking yourself "why isn't there more gold, he really needs more gold" here is more gold for added gold effect
Btw the awful red head lights will be painted black they look terrible
Quick mock up
See dat flake
There she is in all her glory for now peeps

The metal fab alone takes this out of "drift missile" realm. Those welds are a freakin work of art bro. I've had expensive exhaust for my 1000RR that had welds that look almost as nice as yours. And IMHO you can never have enuff dimple die work. Just love the simplicity of dimple dies, less material=less weight, +the added strength! Great build subed for moar!

That was not quite what I had imagined when I read the title. I was pleasantly surprised though.
