I really like how it sits but that CRUNCH from the UCAs and the constant staring into my drivers side mirror (only glass remotely worth a shit to see out of in the vehicle) for a trail of oil is getting old real fast. also i have to park on the grass hill in front of the house. i think i got stuck tonight when i got home from work. guess we will find out tomorrow. im gonna do one of two things.
A) Get loose and go about my day
B) Fling dirt,grass and gophers all over my old ass neighbors pristine driveway and face the wrath of old fuck. Also might bury my car up to the fenders in mud LOL. fuuuuuck

Spent the day over at my friends place. We diagnosed a noise he had been getting from his STI and we fixed my issue on Mildred. I went in knowing i might have some new holes cut into the motherfucker but after we did some careful non rushed measuring, resetting the preload correctly...She sits right. virtually NO wheel gap and NO MORE FUCKING KNOCKING OF THE CONTROL ARMS.

The best thing happened tonight....I scraped...BUT I can finally make it up my driveway again. Very good day. Here are some shots of the new height. The search for a temp set of wheels is very much ON. Been crawling craigslist. budget is dirt cheapest 18' wheel that fits and clears the stock 95+ BBK on the 95+ LS400. I already have some decent tires i scavenged from work.

meh. I was under the impression that it was my car.. And i'll set it where i'm comfortable. Lol. I will be willing to go lower when i have legit wheels. Also i always thought stanceworks was pretty well rounded in the respect of people and cars from all walks, come together to form a pretty diverse community. I have seen everything and anything here lol. Riced out shit boxes, rednecks domestics, high end imports, classic domestic muscle, dumped trucks, lifted trucks, old school revivals, vip, and finally mildred. Well i managed to score a set of 370z wheels off the list of Craig.....two are a little more curbed then i would have liked but for $500 and knowledge that it should have little to no probs clearing my planned brake upgrade...im happy. plus i know it should not be too hard to get them refinished. dont mind the fuel for the project








The insides were COATED in dirt,cooked in brake dust, random fluids and worst of all FUCKING PLASTIDIP. Ive been at it for several hours trying to scrub that shit out. i only managed to get TWO remotely clean. my arm hurts so fucking bad from sanding that shit. green scotchbrite pads, blue dish sponge thingy and SOS pads. diluted purple power and water.

dude all the LS and IS guys do it. maybe even 350s? im not too sure but we all cut holes so the UCAs pass through. with my car all you need is a 2-3 inch diameter on the strut tower and your fine. make sure you measure a trillion times because up until today mine weren't don properly and i still have to shave some more off. just weld a piece of metal over the whole and depending on the welder it may look close to factory. also you can raise the motor and weld a thick piece of metal if you're afraid of busting your oil pan... or learn how to

Was gonna wait til they were cleaned, and refinished. They have ALOT of shit on them dirt wise and damage wise they look great as long as you dont look close. kinda like Mildred herself.

anyway threw them on and ghetto rolled the rear fenders. used a socket on an extension and kept slowly rolling back and forth while my boy held it LOL. i wouldnt have done it but we were closed and i needed to get home. shit was shaving strips out of my tire. looked like a new years decoration -___-

i scrub on hard turns and stuff only when loaded with 4 stock wheels/tires and 3/4 tank of fuel








Tires pokes a good bit in the rear but i like it. looks mean AF. 225/40 up front and i think 235 something or another in the back. scavenged tires be scavenged yo.


Also removed on all four corners that stupid metal chrome strip thing along with the screws and the plastic receiver for the screw. that shit was nuking my rubber

Well got the fenders rolled all around. VIP Fender Rolling here in ATL did it for me for a very reasonable cost. Dude was professional, on time, had all the correct equipment to get it done and best of all did a great job on it. Im more then happy with the results. No more scrubbing or barking from the rear.....which means i might be interested in MORELOW.
