Stick one of those fat rulers on the sidewall and get ones that are 5mm from the guard or on the guard. defs go bolt ons for the front tho.

Take your wheel off and stack washers on the studs until you get the spacing you want and than just measure the washers

Been awhile since i posted here. Had some crazy shit going down in my personal life. I quit my job, packed up every single tool i owned and every worldly possession in the car, and hit the road. I tried to set up shop in Iowa of all places. Long story short that shit was a bust. Ended up heading back to GA.

I logged close to 2500 miles during my wanderings. I found an old runway near the interstate and cut the lock with my bolt cutters. i threw mildred up and down that runway for what seemed like hours. Just sliding the car as best i could for being autotragic , a foot brake and no real clue as to what the fuck i was doing. I finally started seeing lights at the far end of the run way so i hauled ass down the backroad that i came in on. I also buried the speedo for close to two hours flat leaving St louis and heading north to Iowa. there is literally fucking NOTHING for two hours. as far as you can see nothing but farmland. no real civilization. according to my GPS average speed was 164mph. that old whore can scoot.

I'm back in GA and after some soul searching I've decided to retire my wrenches professionally. I no longer find any joy in it. years of working for major chains has burnt me the fuck out. friends and family sure np ill do some shit on the car. in a shop? nah. it would take some doing and an real independent shop to get me to break the box open again.

I want to get into the IT world. Ive always been decent with computers. Have owned watercooled rigs for years. have always been the go to guy for anything tech related in my fam. figure why not go to school for that? check that out for a bit. anyway yea.

The old whore has been good to me. shes a tank and i dont think i will ever get rid of her. She needs some major TLC aesthetically but i think she will be okay. anyone got any school recommendations in the Atlanta area? veteran friendly? even better anyone with an IT background that can help me get my feet wet?

no she is still around. just no major shit going to be done to her for awhile. i MIGHT get spacers for the front wheels at some point. i dunno. was just kinda ranting really. needed an outlet and my build thread called to me since alot of it had to do with Mildred.

she may no longer actually stink but she will always be the stank booty.

IT is a good field, but its one just like auto repair that you have to absolutely love or you'll get burnt out easy. I won't fill your thread up but if you wanna PM me about it I can give you my experiences.

Lol i dont think they really have anything in common. Cant really take experience from one and apply it to the other. I was debating going lower again. I may still do it.
