Mildred the stank booty LS 400

Why Mildred you ask? Because shes a beat up old retired whore. Shes got 217k on her and has been beaten to within an inch of her life.

I plan on cleaning her up extensively inside and out as best I can, getting up to date on maintenance, a paintjob and some surgery to fix her problem of being way too high off the ground. Im a noob to this build thread/ stance thing so bear with me. Im poor as crap and just moved across the country to ATL. Lets see how far i can get her going in the coming months.

The trunk has like an inch of water in it and im sure has something living in it. Cant beat it for $1000 out the door LOL.

So far all that has been done is dumped a can of seafoam thru the brake booster line and fogged out the whole shop in the process. A lot of the smoking is gone now. I also cleaned off as much gunk and BS as i could so i can see whats up with the powersteering. PO replaced the pump but it still leaks. Found after a day of driving both oil pan gaskets (LOL RTV) are leaking and my lines/rack are FUBAR. hopefully more to come.

Got some very bad news. What I thought was a simple power steering issue has snowballed into an epic clusterfuck. I knew she needed some TLC but this is some other OTHER shit. Turns out what was a small seeping pan is the whole upper oil pan gasket pissing oil all over the underside of car and down the exhaust. Explains the smoke at stoplights and the car on fire. Gotta drop the subframe, rack, and support engine and try to redo it all. Only other option is pulling engine and transmission. I don't have the tools for that shit. Or the money. She's gonna be parked up for awhile unless I can get some help. I will be buying a Jack and Jackstands today. Don't have the money for a cherry picker. Fml.

Decided to keep the old bucket. Shes gonna be parked up for awhile and am just gonna save up to fix her. Buying this http://www.harborfreight.com/1000-lb...bar-96524.html gonna go to the store and see exactly how this thing works. hopefully it can hold the weight of the damn block while i disconnect the subframe. this is gonna be fun getting fluids all over my sister in laws driveway. shes gonna kick my fucking ass.. meh. I REGRET NOTHING

Finally got a chance to put some time in and get SOME of this shit rolling. Started with a pile of boxes and a small corner of the garage (dont mind all the random shit in the background lol)
