Got a good amount of stuff done this weekend! One of the things I wanted to make look better were some of the vacuum and oil lines. Last year they were rushed together, and didn't quite look up to par. I decided to bend some hard lines for the oil feed, return and main vacuum source. I inquired Swoops about what tools I should use, so he pointed me in the direction of the correct Rigid benders and 37* flair tool. Got a little more guidance from some other friends as I wasn't sure on if I should leave it all rigid, or leave a partial -an hose line in there for some flex. Mike Houck was a big help for that! Ended up doing just a few inches of -an hose on the oil feed and return, but left the vacuum line solid. Bent those up on Friday, before I got the trans in, and as soon as I got the trans in I realized the main vacuum feed would be in the way, so I fixed that along with the oil return.

I'm thinking about getting some clamps machined so I don't use a zip-tie to hold the oil feed to the coolant pipe. That's going to come down to time, though. Gonna have to gold plate them too, unless I want it to look out of place.. haha.
After those were done I could get the trans on the car, as I picked it up on Friday evening. Wow, they did a fantastic job. I wish they would have given me the axle cups so I could have either plated them or powdercoated them. For the time being, POR15 will suffice.

After that, she was able to go in! With the help of MNshortBus we got it in in about a half hour. Went smooth as silk, though.

Going to order up a few things tonight to finish everything up. The harness will get a techflex treatment this week, then after that it's just a matter of plugging everything in, filling up fluids and starting it! Hooray!
