Another boring update.

New pedal rubbers. Never had an accelerator one. Came in ford packaging but had VW Audi moulded into the rubber. Plus part number for anyone interested.




Also just had to refit the exhaust. For some reason the back box didn't want to stay attached. And i Fitted a new centre air vent as I noticed in the pics of my cup holder that its bent down for some reason?? Not acceptable.

I've finished the cup holder now. Although I would like to redo the lid as I managed to brake the hinge off, so it looks messy when you open it after I glued it. Not acceptable. lol. So I have another ashtray on the way.

Want to get the original stereo that came with the car back in. But I learnt that there is an optional equaliser for the same stereo in Porsches. So I had to get one. The middle one is the original that I have sent off today to get refurbished. Bottom one came with the equaliser on top that I bought, which is a bonus. And will probably go in the jetta quite nicely.



Sanded the back of the ash tray lid smooth and applied some filler (sad I know). Will be painted for a smooth look. And ive fitted the cupholder in the ash tray properly so it doesn't move about with a bit of foam.

Couple of little things.

Getting all greasy sorting a leaking cv boot. I also need to see whats happening with my offside rear handbrake as its not working very well.



Got a new rear badge with the pins intact



And I've been messing about trying to modify the ash try into a cup holder. The plastic of the ash tray is very hard to cut! I think it will look quite good when I'm finished. Single cup holder because screw everyone else.

I **** fitting exhausts. So much hassle. But its done now. Finaly a mod where I've reduced the weight of the car. Haha

Old one out. Someone had welded the back box on? Pain.




Checking the lengths since its a custom system and who i bought it off wasn't using the standard downpipe.



Bought some decent exhaust clamps



And fitted and adjusted a million times to get it sitting where I want it and straight.



Its only a bit louder than standard but just a little more bass. Should be ok.

My exhaust is blowing. So rather than just replacing i bought a stainless. Really hope this isn't too loud and farty. But will have 4 silencers fingers crossed

The 20mm spacers I had wouldn't fit on the rear because the chamfer for the hub centric was fouling on the rear disc because the centre pokes out so much. So I just held it there and was sticking out to far. Although it was more like 25mm spacing.
Tried on a spare 10mm that was lying about and I prefer it a lot. So just bought some new ones and longer bolts. Sorted.

Liking the Sebrings a bit more now but decided to refurb the Roanls ready to stick back on as I think I prefer them. As they developed a few marks from storage and they were a bit marked anyway.
