But lets start from where we left off...
So i left my house to head to the shop and my car got egged whocares

Fitted the front a pillar tubes then dropped the cage down so i could weld the top of everything. Sat it back up where it needed to go and welded it for good.

Started on the lower door bars. Made them level to the opening and clear under the speaker.

Made the upper door bars and tacked them in place.

Put in the first upright. Note the slight bend in the upper bar.

The slight bend in each bar gave me just enough room to clear the inner door. 1/4" clearance

This also gave me just enough room to keep the roll up window functional

Speaker still usable..

Everything fitted. Both sides perfectly symmetrical.

Started fitting the diagonal. I used 1 1/2" .120 chromoly for it that i had left over from my rx7 build.

Perfect notch after some trial and error.

Welded everything up after I finished getting the harness bar perfectly symetrical to the chassis and brought the car home.
Playing with the idea of scooting the oem wing back 2"...thoughts?

Also welded up my new Sweet MFG steering spline onto the oem shaft.

Had to machine a delrin bushing to press into the spline piece to space the wheel out so it doesnt push on too far because PitstopUSA sent me the wrong on.

Gonna use my wheel that came from my rx7 and Legend car in this as well..love this thing.

Next on the list is to fit all the interior panels, make a rear aluminum firewall, reupholster my dash, strip the rest of the sound deadening stuff, then prep and respray the whole inside. And get my new Sparcos to sit lower. Schwing
