This makes me sad. On the other hand does this mean the FC is going to start getting more attention?

Yep cars still alive but unfortunately just sold it to fund my new venture into Formula Drift!

Link to my new BMW build: http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=91920

The past season was good for the car however. I earned another Pro license with it and 2 podiums. I tubed the front, installed a Jerico 4 speed dogbox, and a very built 416CI LS3. (13.5:1 compression, ported heads, ported manifold, High rpm valvetrain, more aggressive cam) This thing rips now, one of the fastest cars in the series. Even with its low rideheight etc, theres not a doubt in my mind that this car could have held its own with a majority of the cars in Pro2. For anyone wondering, the new owner lives in Cincinnatti and has plans of running ?US Drift next season.

Heres some pics of its current state prior to sale. Dmax 50mm rear overs, Dmax type 3 aero, Origin 55mm Type 3 front fenders.

The last event I competed in the car with was in Phoenix at the final round of Pro-Am in conjunction with FD Pro-2 and the FD staff ran and judged the event. I went out and qualified first and won the event! My first actual Win! Not a much better way to send this car off.

Then the following weekend was Super D Matsuri at Grange in California. Basically a little tiny, dirty, gocart track. But a ton of fun and got to run with some FD friends and just unwind after a long season.

Kinda hard posting this but thats the end of this thread, by me. This car served its purpose of grooming me to become a much better driver and builder. A lot of what I learned with this car has transferred to my FC, and especially my new BMW. Hopefully this car can continue to motivate dudes that style doesnt have to be secondary in drifting, and with hard work there can be a balance sustained, Thank you guys farewell :,)

Wow, I didn't realize its been so long since I updated this thread... I'm sure a lot of you maybe have seen the progression of this car on social media but I'm gonna try keeping up on here too with more detail.

This post will be mostly pics, but I'll give a short rundown of some of the upgrades done to the car this season!

First, obvious one, its painted now! New fenders, kit(x 4 lol) and wing and more wheels.

what do you have for protection against tire delaminations?

I want to reinforce my overs, but am not sure how. Im thinking layering duct tape in a waffle pattern, and then putting a thin peice of sheet metal on the duct tape (still behind the fender, obviously) and securing it there with glue, and then doing another waffle pattern of duct tape on the actual peice of metal to hold it in place.

I THINK that should make them so they wont explode if a tire is to go pop. but still, I dont want to waste my time if it won't work.
