Sheesh.. that blows, man.
I laughed at "tooting" the horn. lol.
My car has no washer bottle, no cat, no muffler, no emissions equipment of any sort, and a fox tail blocking my view.
My friend Stuarts car has... well.... it would get a defect too.
So yes, move here. Be our friend.

On the upside, the Australian Motoring Enthusiast Party has managed to score the Victorian seat in our Senate, meaning we may actually get to influence something! Yay!
Also, I bought a phone with a decent camera
But, I'm moving, so the static scenery of the current photos will change to some shit country Australian backdrop aha. Currently the canola is flowering so we have nothing but seas of yellow paddocks to look at. Might take a photo or two of me driving out there (our local cop said I can drive the car defected to our new house but if I get pulled over I tell them I'm meeting a mechanic there)

Moved house so the Golf naturally moved with me.
Have some photos of it including obligatory nozzle-in-filler neck pics

Anyway, on a change of note, Mk1 stuff is hard to come by in Australia. Diesel Mk1 stuff? Impossibru! So imagine my surprise when a mate has a diesel Mk1 engine in amongst his dozens of Holden engines in a shed in a paddock. Mine now

Replaced the gear linkage bushes and took it for a test drive on a dirt road and my exhaust fell off :/ sounds meaty as though

Update!
Not really.
I **** my car.
Since getting defected, the injector pump has started leaking diesel and a fiddly little coolant hose has decided to leak, along with my rocker cover gasket. :/
But I did install a shitty CD player I got for free
But the big update is this
This beautiful piece of diesel rust is the new racecar for us here at Team flog Motorsport ( https://www.facebook.com/pages/Team-...362617373&_rdr ) but it will also supply bits to my Golfmy friend Taylor started this team just for a bit of fun, and here is his Mk1
