Having wheels hubcentric is ideal, but not 100% necessary.

Centerbore on my car is 67.1 and and my wheels are 70 mm +. I'm running 15 mm slip on spacers with 2.5" ARP lugstuds. 0 issued in the 15,000 miles of driven and the car rides like it did stock.

    Anyways, carry on..

i'm glad to see this thread getting a second shot, really like your overall idea of what you want for your celica and not trying to discriminate but I don't think diamonds would look to well on it, just my 2 cents on it. but everything else sounds great

Another thing worth noting is the center bore size- keep that in mind. IIRC, most Subarus have small center bores compared to Celicas, and would require machining to make them fit.

Yeah Celicas are a tough one to get perfect. I want another set of 18x9.5 so I can keep my tires. It will make life so much cheaper.

On a celica, 17"s don't do stance well. They are better for performance.

How's your wheel hunt coming along? Any idea on what you'd like to get?
Nothing yet. Craigslist in my area hasn't turned up any 5x100 yet.

Diamond steelies are hardly an upgrade. They won't look good on your car, and who cares if they're different. There's a reason some wheels get played out on some cars, because they look good. You're still going to catch heat for those headlights, just saying. Have you tried any other Celica forums besides NC? They might appreciate what you have going here more than this community.

I thought that was weird too. Of all the things to point out, side mirrors are not what I would have pointed out.
