The studs that "align" the rear spoiler will be a giant pain in the ass. My missus wants to ditch her spoiler quite badly, but the studs make it look aweful.

      ? Easy.

Rotary, cut off the studs and sand it smooth.

More work than you might think, assuming you want to keep your paint nice. If you want to "sand it smooth", you might want to plan on painting your entire hatch.

You could use the trick I employed in the past- take a washer that's slightly bigger than the stud you're trying to grind off, tape it in place around the stud you're cutting off, and use the cutoff wheel/grinder to remove the stud without destroying the nearby paint. Add a little touch-up paint to bare metal, and live with it.

When you remove your spoiler your car has to be painted. To get rid of the nipples that are holding it in place you need to grind them out, weld the wholes closed, and then paint the hatch. It is a lot more work than you think.

Really won't be a fan of this until you get some real wheels, and get rid of those God awful headlights. It is your car, but you obviously seek the approval of this forum if you keep posting new threads after getting chastised over and over again. If you want approval on this forum, actually take the fucking advice.

Chill. I can't do anything about the headlights right now. And I do like them. Wheels are in the works.

I thought that was weird too. Of all the things to point out, side mirrors are not what I would have pointed out.

Diamond steelies are hardly an upgrade. They won't look good on your car, and who cares if they're different. There's a reason some wheels get played out on some cars, because they look good. You're still going to catch heat for those headlights, just saying. Have you tried any other Celica forums besides NC? They might appreciate what you have going here more than this community.

Smart move. Definitely the right way to do it.

How's your wheel hunt coming along? Any idea on what you'd like to get?

On a celica, 17"s don't do stance well. They are better for performance.

Nothing yet. Craigslist in my area hasn't turned up any 5x100 yet.
