How difficult was the gsxr front end swap?
Well I picked up a 2 up seat at a bike show yesterday..forgot to mention this thing is going to be convertible for when the gf wants to tag along....
here's a quick rendition of how the bike will look by changing out only 4 bolts...

Well I've been wiring like crazy trying to make my suzuki controls work on my yamaha..finally got the bike to turn over using the start button last night..now i just need to do an oil change and go through the necessary legal processes to get this thing on the road!

What was all envolved with this front end swap? I'm honestly, thinking of picking one of these up very soon.. I would like to know what machining was needed on the stem and the wiring? Since, i'm a 1000% noob to bikes.
Thanx

I want to build a bobber now. THANKS.
Bike looks awesome, it's astonishing how much you can change the attitude of the bike by just doing a few things.BB6 Prelude . . E36 ///M3 . . VA WRX Limited . . 1969 Nova

Well I finished wiring everything and did a quick oil change...after that i got the bike started!
Drove it around at the shop for a while. I need a new starter solenoid as it shit the bed..but other than that I'm ready to put this thing on the road!
It drove great, and everything worked like it should. I was really surprised at how well it ran after sitting for a year.
here's a comparison picture of it just to keep it legit (thanks hoowybrow)
Will post a video once road worthy...
I also ordered a bigger front tire (dunlop d404 to match the rear)Last edited by EuroNut; 04-15-2013, 06:23 PM.

I've always wondered, where are you planning to display your number plate?
Also, not sure if you're aware, but 'Heist' is building a bobber on the side. Awesome one to follow as well.
