I apologize for falling short on the updates. The bike is finished and was sold. Here are a few pictures of the finished product.

Ha! Nice to see a bike build on here... I have recently finished a "cafe" inspired cb550. I wish I had documented/taken lots of photos of it during the build.

What did you do about your wiring ? Did you have to shorten your wires ? BTW I really love the build

Hi. Fellow Canadian here up in Aurora, Im interested in a couple things. #1 How much for the GSX-R front end and where did you pick it up and second, how much work and how did you explain it the the machinist to get it all to come together.

I will be building a similar bike. 1982. But mine needs a lot of work!

I've built a handful of Viragos, looking good man, def not a fan of that front wheel. $.02
But viragos are cursed with shitty wheels from factory, I can see why you changed the front x
It bugs me that the wheel doesn't match, but better than the stock front wheel. Once i get a set of rotors you wont be able to see the rim either

The solo seat stays on my bike until the gf wants to tag along...but the seat itself is made by biltwell...check out some of their stuff

I plan on doing the same thing to my Virago I picked up a few years ago. Need to keep myself busy this summer since I won't have a fun car!
availability..found one for sale pretty cheap so i went for it.
I just sent it to a local machine shop...any machine shop should be able to do it

Well I've been busy riding instead of updating...but i have done some more building.
Here is the start of the bracket that im fabricating for the 2 person seat.

    pictures will follow after install
