Had to drain the old petrol out first. Old pump was seized so I grabbed an old W124 pump and drained the shit out of it because this way it would take way too long...

So, old petrol out (20L), new petrol in, reconnecting the MB-pump onto the fuel line and WHAM! it starts!

Until it dies 5 seconds later. Crap.

Kept starting and starting... took me like 5 minutes of almost cooking the starter, but finally it came to life again with the fresh 95 Octane Gotta love that typical 24v straight-six howl

First time in history that we are working on an English car in our shed. So My father insisted that I'd use this before starting: "It is and always will be an English piece of crap. You'll never know..."

Hmmmmm spaghetti mixed with tangiatella! Wiring is a mess on this thing....

Hmmm ofcourse it leaks like shit

Some wicked little details on this car. Almost a piece of art.

And nope. Daimler-Benz AG has nothing to do with the Jaguar-Daimler Company actually
Well, it has "daimler" in it's name, so it has at least something in common

My brother in law and I have been asked to help out my uncle with this never-finished-project: A '67 Jaguar MK2 with complete AJ6 XJ drivetrain and chassis. It has been built by some special Dutch company back in the days called "ROADSTERgroup BV. and they were specialised in converting these things into resto-mods.
They made a handfull of these and were specially built for rich-as-fuck Oil Sheiks and sorts, as prices started around 260.000 Gulden/Guilders at the time (around €120.000).
The chassis and body are mint because it has never been driven in all those years since it was built...

It belonged to my uncles brother, who recently passed away sadly. This thing was collecting dust for over eight or ten years in his shed, and now the family wants to sell it in running and rolling condition

The engine cranks over, it sparks but is doesn't get any fuel. We found out the fuel pump is stuck and therefore cooked the fuse and relay. So we need to tackle that job first to see if we get it running.

    Where's the original steering wheel??

LOL, double full adjustable coilovers in the rear

    The power plant

Apparently I don't like cars that run....

needs centercaps but other then that looking good
    Day before DMPD '13.
But not much has been changed since then, apart from the fact that i took out the drive train for an overhaul, and took off the wheels to refurbish them (needs to be done still )
I have the centercaps, but need to come up with a nice solution for the logo's on them

Ordered a new upgrade-spec DBilas camshaft, because two inlet lobes on cyl.1 and 3 appeared to be worn
Plus side is: more lift, and a bit longer duration should give me some extra HP. Fingers crossed on that one!

How could you be the unlucky 13th owner? Your putting it out of its miserable existence, lol. Good luck with the swap!
