I don't think that's where my clearance issues are, I can see it sitting on the axle...need to get the frame notched more

If you took your wheel off, and lowered it you wouldn't have run into that issue. With the wheel on you may.
You may not cuz of the 215/35, but I had to cut the strut tower on mine.
