Yeah, I don't even know. It's ridiculous over here in Australia, for example there was a bit meet on - and by big where I am I mean like 1200 cars, certainly not to the level you guys get im sure in some of the US shows - and everyone went, everyone was behaved in there cars with no fooling around.

Then halfway through it 30 - 40 cops set up two defect stations both left and right of the only exit, fined basically half of the cars that went - thankfully I got through without a second glance, was packing it though as i drove by, I used a mate as a scapegoat and when he left I went behind and they pulled him up not me, wooo. but yeah it was really bad, if I would have been bagged then, would have lost licence, had to tow car home and all kinds of bad stuff.

Anyway, a few pictures as of late!

I to want more lows, but I don't want to loose my license for some shitty law that utes and trucks are allowed bags but sedans and private vehicles aren't :'(((

So coils it is, I really need to tidy this thing up, get the body work done, fix some shit and then throw on some new wheels and be done. But ehhhhhhhhh.

Tell me about it! I despised black wheels before I got these, ***** them. still not 100% sure but I have moments where I like these a lot and I cant stop looking at the car, but also still have the moments where I still dislike them, but I dunno! not much is being done to this car, everything is being done to my daily at the moment to get it back running.

Agreed hugely. Everyones to busy having a look at each others s chassis to actually take them onto the road and drive them.

The euro that bought my gear ALSO assumed that because I could do it, he could.

Neither could, I had to help/basically do all the wiring in both setups, point out all their floors and help them both when it broke multiple times. Everyone here (in brisbane) needs to stop playing with s13's and learn stuff before they go attempting to build cars I dont like fixing others mistakes.

Specs and terminology are lacking, as I don't know what the bottom part is called however, I shall explain it!

The coilovers I have (BC BR Golds) are good, however if you have to much pretension like I did they cannot go low - at all. The base collar you screw up as far as possible and then INTO the base collar screws a threaded rod which has the eyelet on the bottom to bolt it to the accords hub. both of these at as low as they go just aernt enough.

So - I took out the threaded part that comes from the base of the coil and goes into the hub and cut about 1.5 - 2 inch off of it, leaving still plenty for it to screw into the base (actually still screws in at max, so if i want to go lower I have to cut again, I didnt want to only have it threading in a couple of times as I deemed that to be a bit to unsafe) and from there it lowered the coil essentially.

However - watch out in doing this it changes the height of the adjustment collars on the coils down and if your running a 17' HIGH offset wheel (like mine is 17 x 10 +25) you MAY hit the coil - I just clear by 5 - 8 mm - but any higher offset and you would start hitting sadly.

I'm not sure how teins are set up! might be the same, might not.

Hmm this week, might go get this thing a wheel alignment, get it sitting absolutely perfect (drivers rear is about 3mm lower than passenger) then the front needs to be stiffened a little more!

As for the mazda bucket - it needs a new tyre on the back for more skids, then pay off the two ridiculous fines I got in it -.-
