Does the "P" on your windshield mean you just passed, like it does in Britain, or does it mean something else?

Negative, I think? Im not sure what 'just passed' referes to.

The P plate is a part of a three step phase once you get your license.

You first have your L plates - which are a black L in yellow rectangle, meaning a learner drive - i.e. just started and MUST be accompanied by a full drivers license holder.

The Red P plates - red p on white background - are the first 'provisional' driving plates - i.e. new to the road but can drive on own.

after 12 months on L's and 12 months on red P's you move onto green P plates for 2 years - in this time cant drive v8's or above, anything over 220kw and basically anything turbo/supercharged petrol - its so so bad. but eh, im only on them until next october then I can turbo this bucket of blue nonsense for some real fun.

As it does I. Got almost every issue fixed, got a friendly friend clearing said defect today and ima just run the car exactly the same just higher, while I search for some stock wheels again then just run those with epic tyres for fun times and less cop attention I think.

never driving on that section of highway again, have been waiting for that to happen for months now, it was only a matter of time.

Down to 2 points on license, awww yeah. should be able to loose it again by the end of the year.

Andddd all this talk about cops, I was driving home the other day after ruining a main seal on the mazda, so I was super pissed, got pulled over on the side of the highway, destroyed for everything on the accord because it was the same cop that got me in the mazda so he just went crazy with the little yellow fine book.

Am so sick of traffic police -.- ha.

Yea i know. Funny thing is my dad just finished and regoed a 600hp torana haha. Going to see it/ride in it tomorrow so ill see how long it takes for a cop to pull it over.

Yeah Aus laws are freaking ridiculous with cars. its so terrible. As in so bad if I see a cop car or undercover car I actually pull over into the nearest servo/whatever to get a drink or something and wait it out while they go away, because I dont want to be fined. its so annoying.



And yeah, own a domestic like holden or ford, with 10000000HP ripping single legger skids down the highway, your ok. Own an import, thats lower than 100mm driving along at the speed limit, loose your license. not even kidding.
