honestly i think im going to end up getting a 10 because i found a different wheel that i think looks better, and it doesn't come in a 8 with so much offset. and thanks again about that bronco sway bar idea i'm defiantly checking out my local pick n pull for a bronco 2 this weekend =)

it has to be the little bronco II, not a full size bronco. But it bolts right up, be sure to get the end links and shackles for it when you pull it. They come with either a 3/4 inch sway bar or a 1 inch. The 1 inch is hard to find though. I understand about being on a budget, but, buying things once, even if it costs more at first, saves money in the long run. Often times I bought something cheaper...then a few months later bought the better quality, or part I really wanted but couldn't afford at the time and then realized I wasted money buying something cheaper. Its your build though, if you want 8s go for it. Just be sure of all your options and be sure you are really buying what you really want.

Sure, but with a 10 you can run a little wider tire but still get the stretch and poke you're after, and the wider setup will fill out the wheel wells better. You could always go with a staggered setup too. I know for sure you can fit a 10 inch wide wheel in the back, there are many rangers with 10.5s out back. The extra width in the back with a wider tire will help with rear traction too. Oh and if you don't have one already...find a bronco II in a junk yard and get the rear sway bar...makes a world of difference.

realy?, cool thanks man I never thought of a bronco rear sway bar. but also part of the reason I was going for the 8 is tires. im sure that sounds stupid but i'm only a sophomore in highschool and tires are a pretty big expense to me. so if I can get the exact same lip width out of an 8 that I can a 10 then im definatly gonna save by going with the 8's

I think 16x8 is going to leave you wanting more. rolling fenders is easy man, and that way your fitment is exactly where you need it to be. This truck has been begging for aggressive wheels. I have 17x9 0 offset and I feel like I need to space them. Go big or go kinda like

i see what your saying but when i had 6" of lip it poked a good amount with a 5" lip though it should be dead on perfect, or i can stick with a 6" lip with the 16x8 aswell

You should at least look into how very easy it is to pull bedsides, and doing so wont even hurt your paint, at all. It also looks awesome. Seriously haha. I ran n 18x9 +25 with a one inch spacer in the front with 245 tires and stock hight and they still didn't really stick out past the fenders, if I had gotten around to dropping it, it would have needed more spacer for sure. Have faith, you can go "big" on these trucks with little work to the fenders and bedside.

i see what your saying but i'm trying to avoid rolling and pulling my fenders and if i can be fitted or at least meat flush with a 16x8 then i'm happy with it. my friend has a fitment tool where i can see exactly how much off set and back spacing i will need to make it right.
